I told you guys....we wanted a combo of Cousins/Monroe or Cousins/Whiteside!

Luckily for us Hassan dropped in our laps

Exactly. Think about all the great shooters in the league that you could sign with the MLE or less (House, Reddick, Korver, Allen, Peja, etc. etc). Now think of all the great defensive big's you could sign with the MLE or less.

Whiteside is a PROJECT but I like the pick. I know he's projected as a 5 but really if it all comes together he could be a 4 easily in the NBA.

With Noc and Hawes gone I don't think it's the end for Brockman, but he may end up being the last guy off the bench.

I seem to remember this Israeli kid named Omri Casspi being a pretty good shooter.

Omri is our only consistent shooter and 1 guy isnt going to get it done.

Im pretty sure the offseason JUST started. Patience is a virtue...

Casspi can be reliable... Beno has proven he's reliable.. 3 point shooting will come more easily thru free agency. Hopefully donte is working on his spot up 3s. Landry is a great midrange shooter for a big man, and supposedly (from workout info) Cousins is a great 17-18 foot shooter. We pull a korver/reddick/ray allen outta the hat, along with a rudy gay/joe johnson, we're sittin good

I would just like to be the first to say....

HA to all those T-Wolves fans who said that they wouldn't take Johnson @ 4. For a MONTH, all I've heard about is how the T-Wolves would NEVER pass on Cousins...and LOOK what happened!

HA!

From the way Westphal has been talking lately about our frontline I don't see a change where JT comes into the starting lineup. I think of all the frontcourt pieces we have he may be the next to go, maybe in a sign and trade?

Trust me, Johnsons the real deal. Doesn't have the star potential Cousins does but I doubt he's anything less than a great 2nd option on a contender type for many, many years.
