One of the things that I like best about this off season is that the league is getting rid of it's bad owners.

Chris Cohan will be selling the Warriors soon. Karen Davidson will be selling the Pistons. Bob Johnson already sold the Bobcats and any day now, the Hornets will be transferred from George Shinn to Gary Chouest. Ted Leonsis is an upgrade over Abe Pollin. No matter how good a person Abe was, it was apparent that he wasn't a great basketball owner as the Wiz struggled so much on the court.

If all goes according to plan, Donald Sterling will be the last joker standing. There is always the rumor of the Clippers eventually moving to Anaheim but as long as he's in charge, it won't happen. However, should he decide to sell, Dr. Henry Samueli, owner of the Honda Center and Ducks NHL franchise would seem to be the perfect guy to take over.

Unfortunately, he pleaded guilty to lying to investigators during an investigation into his business dealings. OTOH, the plea was later overturned when it turned out that he wasn't the bad guy so his guilt was overturned.

My question is, since the guilty plea was overturned, would he be able to survive an NBA vetting process that is quite strict? Could Stern establish his own rules or would the fact that he lied not look good to the NBA and he wouldn't be allowed into the club?
