Don't Resign/Cut
QB Marques Tuiasasopo
FB Stacy Tutt
WR Justin McCareins
TE Sean Ryan
DE Shaun Ellis
LB Cody Spencer
LB Viktor Hobson
LB Matt Chatham
CB David Barrett
FS Erik Coleman
Resign:
Brad Kassell - ST captain
Wallace Wright - good ST player
Hank Poteat - solid #3 corner

Trades:
Trade #6 to Dallas for #22, #29, 2009 4th round pick.
Trade Chad Pennington to Kansas City for a 3rd round pick.

FA Signings:
Stacy Andrews OT - our new RT. only 27 years old with great size
Jacob Bell OG - completes our OL for the future

Ethan Kelley NT - good big NT to rotate with Pouha
Nnamdi Asmougha CB - this signing makes our secondary elite. Revis, Asmougha, Rhodes, with Elam. allows us to focus on OLB, DL, and OL in the draft. Rob Ryan will really help get him here

sign the Best available QB as insurance to Clemens.

Draft:
#1(22) - Derrick Harvey OLB - very underrated and could end up being better than Gholston. would look great in a Jets uni. strong side 34 OLB could have a merriman/ware type ceiling. note the strange ironies with David Harris (same initials, very soft-spoken hard workers, both of their last names could be first names) Tangini go and get this guy he needs to be a Jet.
#1(29) - James Hardy WR - Junior WR coming out early. has great size and I think he will be the best receiver out of this class

#2 - Sam Baker OL - versatile lineman to stick in between D'Brick and Mangold

#3 - Josh Barrett S - strong hitting safety who could break TC as the starting SS. good compliment to Rhodes
#3 - Joe Flacco QB - great size and is a Mangini guy. if the Clemens project fails here is another young QB who could turn into something special.

#4 - Owen Schmidt FB
#5 - Chris McDuffie OG
#6 - Frank Morton NT
#7 - Adam Bishop TE

I like this if it happens. However, I'd like to bring back Ellis for a year or two, we are really thin at the D-Line position and he's probably our best player there.

And Hicks has already been released, along with Adrian Jones.

ok first. I think we should keep Hobson, especially for running situations, he's good stoppping the run. No way we cut Ellis, we nneed him for DE and sometimes he played DE on 3rd downs.

No way we sign 3 big FAs this time. I say we go after Lilja from Indianapolis, Calvin Pace (MONSTER OLB) From Arizona and either Randall Gay or Samuel.

I see no reason in cutting Ellis at all, its not like he has complained and we have no better replacement. I really dont see Robertson being better at End then NT.

I would love to have Scrabble on this team, however he is going to command a lot of money, probably even more then Clements last year.

Im selling Hardy as a first round choice if we trade down, I dont see no need what so ever for a WR. We have Cotchery, Coles and Smith. I also like Stuckey for some reason.

Harvey had a bit of a down year this past season, so workouts are really going to determine his value. I dont see Baker lasting till the second round, then again I didnt think Winston Justice would either.

Bell would be interesting, though I dont see him leaving the Titans.

Two other things to keep an eye on are Vilma, will he be traded?
Shaun Rogers, every Jet fan on the internet seems to think he is already a Jet because of these rumors. Though I see him as a horrible fit in the 3-4...
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.
