What would you guys think of Alexy Shved for the summer league team? I think Crittenton would beat him out for a spot but he might be worth a look.

Shved: 6'6 SG posing as a PG against weak Euro competition?

No thanks. Lakers already have one of those making 5.5 mil next season. Really don't want to play that record again.

Anthony Morrow isn't going to be let go by the Warriors, especially at that price tag.

Too bad he won't ever reach that potential under Don Nelson.

actually morrow is the type of player nelson wants. hes perfect for nelson's system. that's why morrow got a lot of burn this season.

Come on Chefy thats not how you persuade a guy to come play for your team. :D I know where you're coming from with that since the kid was killing it under Nelson but I can't see him winning anything under Don Nelson. The kid does have his whole career to win a championship though and forr now he should be where he probably gets the most playtime. However I can see him getting about 30 a night while backing up Kobe and Ron.

Morrow could very well leave because of the ownership situation they have. He is a restricted FA so the Warriors could match any offer sheet. I would love to get Morrow but it looks like he can get more money elsewhere.

Please tell me you were kidding when you said Morrowe would get 30 mins a game and that he would back up Ron ... Morrow can NOT play SF, no way, he would get abused by the likes of Andres Nocioni, let alone a real SF.

Bro I said Kobe and Ron. Dude you're going to tell me that if we land this kid there might not be a rotation of

PG
Morrow
Ron

PG
Morrow
Kobe

Don't even say we might not see that if he actually does come here. I have seen lineups of Farmar/Brown/Kobe. If a lineup like that has been out on the court before then the two lineups with Marrow are a possibility.

Bynum and LO for CP3 and Okafor

i think this would be a good trade for both teams. What do guys think?

Then we sign Miller.
Shaq and Kurt Thomas for minimum.
Resign Powell for minimum.

CP3/Fisher
Kobe/Sasha
Ron/Miller/Luke
Pau/Powell/Kurt
Emeka/Shaq

Ebanks and Caracter via Draft
Re-Sign Derek
Bring to L.A. Mike Miller for MLE
Sign for Vet Min: Kurt Thomas (or Joe Smith)
and an athletic back-up PG (CJ Watson maybe?)

Fisher - Watson - Crittenton
Bryant - Miller - Vujacic
Artest - Ebanks - Walton
Gasol - Odom - Caracter
Bynum - Thomas

After, I'll try to find a new place for Vujacic.

I still think Vujajic has to have some use in a trade as an expiring. i can't see him playing the whole year as the backup PG.

Trading Sasha is a waste of time so better off letting him walk or trade for an Trade expection.

It's Sasha's contract year, He'll play well.

What would someone like Sergio Rodriguez command? I would hope knicks blow the team up after they don't get Lebron

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
