If Chicago didnt wanna get shut out, which seems to be the case now, they shouldve caved in and traded Noah and TPE for Bosh. That would have landed you guys either Wade or Lebron.

Wade/Lebron + Bosh >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Noah!!!

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

Yup, that was the reason. It wasn't that Bosh was nut hugging Wade.

1.) Ignorant post. If Bosh wanted to come to Chicago, Toronto would have taken what we offered. Apparently they're gonna take a LOT LESS if they even do a S&T with Miami at all. Apparently Bosh didn't want to come to Chicago. We share that much with you guys.

2.) Trolling post. Get the heck out of there.

Yes, cause trading Noah would have made Bosh more likely to sign here. Maybe I shouldn't have responded to this nonsense, but oh well...

His post doesn't even make sense. Bosh is committed to Miami, S&T or not.

This wasn't about Noah or the Raptors. Bosh and Wade were teaming up in Miami probably for months now.

Chicago probably goes hard after Boozer/Lee now.

The problem with Chicago is that we are already a low end playoff team. If we add Boozer and a good shooting SF (e.g. - not a breaking down Ray Allen, not a SF in Mike Miller or non-shooter Josh Childress [who I like at SF, but who is a SF]) we might also push up to top 4 Eastern team. But the Bulls won't be a contender without getting Rose a "2nd star" to play with. And Noah's not that guy - he's a 3rd guy on a contending team - way too limited offensively.

Given the high level of success "collective" teams like Boston and Detroit have had in the NBA over the last 6 years, I simply cannot understand why people think the "second star" is an absolute necessity. Or, rather, how a guy like Boozer isn't a sufficient "second star" when you also have Deng, Noah and shooters buttressing him and Rose.

Its been indisputably proven in recent years that teams constructed in such a way can compete at the highest levels of the NBA. No, they likely can't compete as dynasties. But they contend and can, and have, won it all.

KG-Pierce-Ray Allen-Rondo isn't built around "2nd star?" (Formerlly KG-Pierce, now throw Rondo into the mix?). Or Kobe-Gasol.

Not only do you need two top 10-15 players, you need that plus at least one more top 25-35 player to win a championship, as well as balance and some depth. KG is still a superstar. His defense alone is amazing. How many PFs right now are really better than KG? Maybe Pau, maybe Bosh, probably not Duncan any more. And Rondo right now is better than Rose (sad, but true), and may well be a top 10 player in his own right. Rose might well overcome Rondo - it's a nice rivalry - but Rondo's defense and passing are better. Rose is a better finisher - that's the real clear advantage.

The only real "non-superstar" team was Detroit. And it had real close to 5 all-stars - Billups in his prime, 'Sheed and Ben Wallace just leaving theirs, Rip and Prince in their primes. Prince was a top 10 SF and he was the worst of the 5 - the "glue guy." It's not impossible to replicate - but the Bulls aren't close to that at this point, either - a PF and SG away.

So the Bulls' front office decided not to trade Bosh before he became a free agent?
Damn you, GarPax!

You are aware that in free agency, it's the player, not the team, that chooses where the player will play next year right???

Im not trolling, that is the reality of the situation.

First things first, Bosh is NOT signing with Miami without a S&T, i dont care what the reports are.
Bosh/Miami are just fronting to get the best deal from Toronto (ie. not giving up so much).

Secondly, had Chicago complied earlier, you guys COULD have quite possibly had Lebron/Wade + Bosh. Thats a fact.

This whole process dragging out has really hurt Chicago.

Me too. If we completely strike out, no one should blame them if they decide to go somewhere else when their contracts are up. These guys don't deserve this crap.

I don't think either will leave unless the Bulls simplly stop trying to improve the team, or the Bulls pissed off both players.

This rejection is the kind of fire that fuels players. I have no doubt that Noah will be fuel by this, the question is will Rose?

Oh, and speaking of screwed up...imagine how much you could have gotten for Bosh if you traded him at the deadline as opposed to accepting whatever garbage Miami wants to give you?

Everyone knew Bosh would leave Toronto. You guys wasted your time.

It is Bosh's decision and it has nothing to do with what we agreed to with Toronto.
