Considering that Childress will fetch more in this market if he returns, is more of a SG and was statistically worse last season playing alongside Kleiza, I'll take the Lithuanian.

does no-one else see a possibility of the Nuggets looking to add talent at the PF position and with no cap space looking at perhaps using Kleiza in a S&T to get Beasley?

It would certainly throw a last minute spanner in the works at this point but could taking back Beasley off Miami open up the possibility of Kleiza & Lawson for Beasley & additional low salary from our roster?

Childress is one of those corner 3 specialists. Mostly, he's a great defender.

In 08-09 Denver had the 8th best ranked defense in the league with Kleiza averaging 22mpg and they made the western conference finals. In 09-10 without him and no major roster changes (other than Afflalo), they had the 16th best ranked defense and were ousted in the first round.

He scored 41 in one game! He's tough, gritty and hopefully this means that Turk is gone. I doubt Denver is gonna match cause they don't have cap space and are looking for a minimum big man. They also on planning to sign Melo to an extension so Kleiza might just walk his way to us.

Brewer and Childress can't shoot and their defensive "prowess" remain to be proven (further.
Kleiza has proven he can score with the best of them (when given the opportunity) in the NBA

He's athletic, versatile and 2 years younger that Childress, same age as Brewer
He's cheaper that Brewer and Childress.

Hopefully Denver don't match!

I've been asking the same thing. I am unsure how he is at defending athletic wings and how he got his toughness label. Looking for insight from people that have seen him play Euro or Denver.
