If its Walton/Vujacic for Hedo, I think LA does it. Anything else, no.
Financially for LA, its like:
'10-11 - wash
'11-12 & '12-13 - an MLE level deal (Hedo minus Walton)
'13-14 - a big cap hit in his final year, but also Kobe, Pau, & Artest's final yr.

I think it would only work if it was a 3 way trade with either Odom or Artest going somewhere else & us getting picks/ young assets back. Get Houston involved!

I would love to have Turk shipped out. Surely he can not be part of the rebuilding process from a talent level and we already know he is not the character guy you want influencing your young players.

I expect the Lakers would be offering up the poo poo platter but if it included Ebanks as a sweetener....hmmmmm.

I can see Turk actually playing a lot better than last year's anomally now Bosh is gone.
I don't want to give up Turk simply for Walton and Vujacic...

We defiantly need to get rid of Turk. He is one bad game, one bad article away from another trade request.

The Raptors need to trade this guy to Orlando and get Gortat in a bad way.

Turkoglu is a good player, had a bad attitude and season in Toronto. Was misused, underused and was given preferential treatment right off the hop.
I agreed with what Turkoglu said once the season ended. It isn't any one persons fault, its a collection of things and people, that if done over, things would turn out much better than they had.
Turkoglu as a FA right not(hypothetically speaking) is worth on this market I would say 10 million per, at least for this and next year. Years 3 and 4 thereafter, I could suggest a range of 5-7 tops. It may be a hard estimate to agree with, but that's what I'm seeing play out with contract hand outs.
I do feel he has a lot still to offer and his tank still has fuel. I must admit that I have cringed at Turkoglu this year as well as criticized all that is Turkoglu. So that as my disclaimer, and my preach that I'm as objective as possible(hmmm).
Right now, who would you want to have the ball in the last second. Assume Bosh is still on this team. I'm sure it gets equal votes for Bosh and Turk. For my money, Turkoglu gets the ball. In fact, there's not too(maybe 10-14 teams tops) many teams out there that can offer up anyone better.
Turk goes for 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists this year easy.
Toronto, are you ready for Turkish delight?
