However, I found this by searching on Google.

We will have the MLE and LLE next year. If we use the MLE next year then we can't use it the year after, but we would have it again the year after that. It's an alternating yearly exception. The LLE is usable every year.

Man I want that right now. I was eating out the other night and saw it on the menu, but instead of fried chicken they served it with chicken fingers. And that's lame as hell. One, it's not the same thing at all; and two, no grown man should ever order chicken fingers at a sit-down restaurant.

Anyone find out about the Pick details to Toronto ?

I would think its Miami 2011 pick Lotto protected, or Unprotected in 2012, thus allowing the 2013 pick to go to Clevland.

Anyone hear the full details yet?

The question about the dooms day senario... where Heat suffer injuries in 2011 and fall out of the playoffs.. allowing Miami to keep their own 2011 pick.... the assumption would be that the pick going to Toronto under that senario would be unprotected in 2012, for the 2013 pick to be moved to the Cavs

but you can't trade picks in consecutive years, however they may have a "future considerations" clause or a wink-wink where the Heat actually pick in 2012 (for the Raptors) and then immediately trade that guy to them.

I wish we could have traded Beasley instead of one of our picks to Cleveland. I mean, I know Riley isn't a good drafter, but we wasted our 2008 1st round pick (beasley). 2010 (to OKC), 2011 pick, Raptors pick, and then 2 more first rounders between 2013-2017?

That's 6 first round picks. Why do we need to wipe those guys asses after we raped them?

Heat president Pat Riley and owner Micky Arison met with free agent point guard Derek Fisher on Saturday and made a "compelling" offer, according to a league source.

Miami told Fisher they envision him as their starting point guard.

Via ESPN

What does "compelling" mean?
The Lakers offered him 5M / 2years, so it means Pat has made a higher offer?
I hope Pat stops chasing Fisher right away. I'd rather have Jason Williams.

Fisher will stay in LA IMO. Just using us as leverage.

I don't even get why we are an option for him... They can make him more and he's been there for so long.

Maybe the chance to play with potentially the best trio the NBA has seen and under the genius of Riley is too much of a lure to turn down.

Guys, Fisher knows how to win games. He has 5 Championship under his belt. He would be a huge additions to our team not to mention a big blow to the Lakers.
