Detroit accepts. We hate to lose Gordon, but his fit with the roster wasn't there. Here we pick up two long term assets for our team, that can either grow with our core, or be used as trade assets down the line.

Edit - The main incentive was bringing Darko back to Detroit.

MEM and TOR have a trade to announce.

TOR outgoing:
Amir Johnson - $5,000,000
Marco Belinelli - $2,380,270

MEM outgoing:
Hasheem Thabeet - $4,793,280

We are under the cap so it works. Amir is a very nice 3rd big off the bench, he gives us defense and rebounding and his offensive game isn't to bad. He is only 23 and locked up to a long term deal. Beli provides us with ball handling and shooting off the bench. We wish Thabeet the best in Toronto.

Big risk, big reward deal here. Amir just signed a new extension, works his tail off every game, and has great chemistry with Weems/DeRozan. But I'm tired of hearing the dominant Amir Johnson is coming every year, and I'm going to take my risk and sell high right now. Belinelli wasn't getting playing time on my squad and the major reason I did this deal was Thabeet. He gives me a legitimate shotblocking presence inside and allows me to move Bargnani to the 4 either temporarily or permanently. The move also opens up time for Ed Davis and saves me some $$.

Orlando and Denver have agreed to a deal.

JJ Redick - 5,750,000
Marcin Gortat - 6,322,320
Chris Duhon - 3,500,000

for

Kenyon Martin - 16,795,454
Brian Butch (LOL) - 854,389

Orlando is happy to consolidate some a group of role-players into a large expiring contract. We feel that it will be easy to trade Martin's for assets that will really help this team become a champion. Worst case scenario, we've acquired a veteran player who is a strong paint defender who is good for a near double-double every night. Butch will be used in a follow-up trade to Cleveland to make salaries match.

The Denver Nuggets and Chicago Bulls have agreed to the following:

Derrick Rose $5,546,160
Luol Deng $11,345,000
Taj Gibson $1,117,680
Omer Asik $1,150,000
$19,158,840

for

Carmelo Anthony $17,149,243
Chauncey Billups $13,150,000
2011 First

Total:$30,299,243

Chiacago is under the cap enough to absorb the extra 11 million in salary.

We wanted to move past the Carmelo Era and really build a better overall team. We thank Mr. Anthony for all that he's done for out franchise and we expect him to have a great future in Chicago.

The Denver Nuggets agree to this trade. We desperately needed to remake our team and this deal helps us tremendously.

Chiacgo Accepts, we are reluctant to part ways with Rose, but we are going into win now mode, and a young kid no matter his talent level didnt have the maturity to lead this team in the Stacked East.

detroit and minnesota have agreed to the following deal

Minnesota trades: Beasley, Ellington, Flynn, Sessions, Milicic
Minnesota recieves: Ben Gordon, Wilcox, Summers, Detroit 2011 2nd, Toronto 2011 2nd

Detroit trades: Ben Gordon, Wilcox, Summers, Detroit 2011 2nd, Toronto 2011 2nd
Detroit recieves: Beasley, Ellington, Flynn, Sessions, Milicic

Minnesota accepts

We trade in players with questionable production for one of the better shooters/scorers in the league who is still relatively young and we are confident will be back to form healthy and with a defined role as a starter. Wing scoring is something the T'Wolves are in desperate need of and not much long term salary is added since we're trading away some of our more expensive roleplayers (who wont fit into long-term plans regardless). Not to mention it opens up more money for 2011 free agency.

T'Wolves incoming: 14,562,195
Detroit incoming: 17,522,360

14,562,195*1.25=18,202,743

edit:summers unguaranteed will be waived as soon as the trade is complete

For the record the Golden State Warriors will choose to claim Dajuan Summers off of waivers when this deal goes through.

I crunched the numbers and the trade doesn't work. I offered to facilitate it as a third team, but Memphis decided that they give up too much in a trade for Bryant that it would defeat the purpose of getting him. So, the deal is probably a no-go.

Yup, in addition to the Mayo/Mayo/Gasol I'd either have to give up Zbo or Thabeet and/or Conley, so ya I'd be left with Kobe and nobody.

I know you linked the trade checker, but you must list individual salaries for future deals because players will be switching teams

Charlotte - Orlando

Jameer Nelson - 8,100,000
Mickael Pietrus - 5,300,00
2011 1st Round Pick

for

DJ Augustin - 2,540,400
Gerald Wallace - 9,000,000

11,540,400 x 1.25 + 100,000 = 14,525,625 > 13,400,000

Rationale: Orlando is excited about acquiring Gerald Wallace, a first-team all-NBA defender to play alongside reigning and two-time DPOY Dwight Howard. This, and following moves have given me the best defensive front-court in the NBA. DJ Augustin will play off of the bench. We're sad to see Jameer and Mickael go. Both have been important pieces in our recent success, but all of we felt that it was time to go a different different.

Washington - Orlando

Vince Carter - 17,522,375

for

Gilbert Arenas - 17,730,693

Salaries are only 28k different. They match.

Rationale: We wouldn't have traded all-star guard Jameer Nelson without a plan in place to bring in a replacement. What we have gotten is more than that. Arenas, a 3-time allstar and all-NBA player, will bring necessary starpower to the Magic. The Eastern Conference became much more difficult through free agency this summer. We feel that a team with Arenas at the point, Wallace on the wing, and Howard in the middle is good enough to contend with anyone in the league. For those with questions about Arenas' health or demeanor, we will say this and only this:

Arenas is healthy. He has had no troubles with his knee in over a year. His workload will be down from what it was in Washington, so you will see a rejuvenated and fresh Gilbert Arenas. As per his suspension: at least he wasn't running an illegal dog-fighting circuit.

Milwaukee - Orlando

Rashard Lewis - 19,573,711
Daniel Orton - 1,028,400

for

John Salmons - 8,000,000
Drew Gooden - 5,765,000
Corey Maggette - 9,600,000

20,602,111 x 1.25 + 100,000 = 25,852,638.75 > 23,365,000

Rationale: I just really wanted to dump Rashard Lewis, and at worst he, I found a new starting 2 in Salmons and good depth with Maggette and Gooden. You're a pretty rich team if you can boast that you have a 20 pgg. guy at 4 positions and on the bench, which I now do.

Breaking News:

Talks with Cleveland have hit a stall. Finances are being worked out at this moment, and we hope to have a resolution shortly.

(I'll edit my roster page and salaries after I get approval for the trades.)

Washington happily accepts. arenas needed to go and a new area has dawned

The Portland Trailblazers and Detroit Pistons have agreed upon a trade.

Pistons send Austin Daye ($1,803,720) in exchange for Rudy Fernandez ($1,246,680), and Dante Cunningham ($762,195). Deal Works!

Pistons accept, we like Rudy's potential. We feel his down season last year was due to a myriad of injuries, and his shooting percentage is made up for in the large percentage of his shots coming from behind the arc, where he still shot a good percentage (as you can witness in his TS%). Cunningham is another prospect that can grow, or be used as a trade asset.
