According to my sources, Former GM of the San Antonio Spurs, who is now the new GM of New Orleans Hornets (NewEra) is close to hiring an Assistant GM who will no doubt turn a few heads in BAT 4.0....My sources say the two had a conversation last night and the other party was said to be very "honored" at the possibility of taking on the role. I've been sworn to secrecy not to mention the person until tomorrow when the deal will most likely be confirmed, but I'll just say this: This person is very experienced, respected among all, and has the capabilities to become one of, if not the best Assistant GM in the business.

I'm surprised you didn't choose the Heat, since you're a heat fan now.

Mags, any idea when 3.0 is wrapping up so we can begin 4.0? I am going on vacation in a couple of weeks and was wondering when we will begin?

It seems like 3.0 is as done as it is going to get. The rosters are messed up supposedly and only one judge has come through. Did they have a time they needed to have their rankings up?

I vote that we start 4.0 soon and try and keep a better roster page, maybe where only one person can update after drafts and trades. Any help I can give to get 4.0 started, let me know.

I agree bish...

This is as close as we've come to completing one of these BAT's, but it's certainly lost steam and there are still ways we can improve upon the process. We should have had a set date where the judges should have posted their results.

I also feel we should name the judges before hand this time around, this way they can participate in the process and get a feel for what the teams are building towards and what kind of work we actually put in. This way they can reward us with our hard work with some of their own and posting their results in due time.

The way we have it now, the judges who have signed up don't have any connection to the process and don't care if they back out of their obligation. They don't realize how hard we work towards building these teams. If they see that, maybe they would feel more obligated to us to follow through in the process.

I'm good with it, and agree with having the judges picked beforehand.

I think we should get the scoring and rules up ASAP, so we can start this thing.

Looking to deal. I'm interested in an additional first rounder in the top half of the draft (will trade 2nd and 3rd rounder or possibly more depending on how high) or trading my first rounder down for multiple picks.
