Goran Dragic summer watch

Post#1 » by jolbin » Wed Jul 28, 2010 8:34 am

Gogi is playing in his first game of this summer for national team.
Decimated Slovenija(No Rasho, Sasha and Beno + Lakocvič, Nachbar and Jagodnik staying in Slovenija to prepare for WC better) is playing against Iran on a Stanković cup in China right now..
Gogi is the boss of the team, eventhough he only had 1/2 trainings with the team this year..
Right now, he has 5 points and about 3 assists after 10 minutes of his play..
He definently had another move for highlite reel - A no look over the shoulder - behind the back pass to the cutting Primož Brezec, who looks good when playing with Goran - maybe he could be an option instead of Mark Blount;)

Also, Zoran Dragič played 4 minutes till now and scored once..

wow ten minutes for 5/3?? This kid is stepping it up even more. But Vujacic not being there gives Goran more chances to shine. As a suns fan, what happened in the playoffs was pretty bad. How is their relationship now?

Is there a stream or live score? Definitely interested, Slovenia has a really good national team. Plus I have a man crush on Dragic.

No, little more than 10 minutes 12/3 actually :)
He then hit 2 three pointers in a row..

Slovenija leading 58 : 38 after trailin 14:4, but that is quite irrelavant..
Samo Udrih, Primož Brezec and Gogi all having a great day.
Also Sani Bečirovič with 12/6 but with some TOs and worse effienency - he played almost the whole half

mms://87.250.33.42:8080/tvarena If the Serbian commentators wont bother you too much;)
Second half starting in about 5-10 minutes..

I dont know about their relationship..
I only know that they have no relationship - they dont care about each other :)

Only one thing comes to mind when seeing Goran and Zoran play together, especially on defense.

I can't find any stat's or new or anything anywhere. What'd he end with number's wise? And I feel sorry for Iran, feeling the wrath of Goran

Slovenia beat Iran 107:74

Goran had 15 points and 5 assists i think but should be more in 18minutes played.

Sweet. Maybe he'll average that this year. In 20 minutes per game. :D

Found this box-score.

No Lakovic / Nachbar? I knew Lorbek was out but why didn't these guys play? I guess it's not an important game but still.

As said in opening post, Lakovič and Nachbar are in Slovenija preparing for the world championships by themself.. The coaches thought that they dont want them to pick up and injuries at such a meaningless tournament..
Also, Goran played so little because he only joined the team in China - one day before the game..
He will be playing more soon, so we wont have to watch Bečirovič at PG again:D
Samo Udrih was pretty awesome thought - 19 minutes, 19 points (4/4 for three and 3/4 for 2...)
Tommorow - Australia

Me too..
I just think we are one big man too short to make some serious result - Lorbek would be perfect, while Rasho would still be great
