I doubt they would do this or Brown would agree, but I wouldn't mind getting Pau Pau a buddy.

If you dont think they would do it just for brown, do you think if we threw in one of our unsigned draft picks from this past year they would? but then, would that even be worth it for us?

browns pretty much a done deal, unless cleveland straight out over pays him. fernandez from what ive seen is a streaky shooter, ive rather have Brown and Vujacic

Rudy actual > Brown actual
Rudy max potential >>> Brown max potential

Portland would probably trade with any other team before the Lakers.

Maybe the move Rudy to another team, and LA secretly contacts that team and offers Brown + a pick, once the initial trade is completed. He can be re-traded immediately as long as it is by himself :). Do it.

Not worth Brown and a pick IMO.

Portland won't trade Fernandez to the Lakers not even if the Lakers offer them an expiring contract. Portland could be one of the 4 teams with home court in the playoffs this season no way they deal with the Lakers.

We should have made a run at Juan Carlos Navarra this offseason. He might not mind the NBA if he was playing for a winner.

Isn't the reason why Rudy wants a trade because of his role on the team? What makes you guys think he'll be happier playing for L.A.?

As much as I would love to, I know the Blazers won't be doing any trades with the Lakers to help them out.

Two Spaniard under one team. Sweet! This will make Pau happy.

But yea. It's very unlikely. :noway:

The way Portland fans rate their players, we'd have to offer Bynum to get Rudy. Wishful thinking, but it's interesting to consider how he'd do in the Lakers system.

i'm in no way giving up bynum for rudy....... we can keep our current roster and add depth through next yr's draft and fa......i'd rather do that than give up bynum.....it's too hard to find a legit starting 7 foot center....but i do say sasha and mr alley oop over quentin richardson....i hope we aren't seriously interested in him, unless brown decides to go elsewhere, then he can take a 1 yr deal for the vet min.....

Calm down, buddy. No one was suggesting trading Bynum for Rudy.

I wasn't joking, but I wasn't suggesting it, either. My point is that Portland fans on RealGM seem to have a strong tendency to overvalue their players.
