Chinatown isn't actually my kind of player. I was looking more for a Gazelle/Athletic/Brolic Reboudning Big but for this Bobcats team he adds depth and allows me to have great versatility. My team strength is guard play and every single one has above average penetration skills...... so in half court sets they'll be looking for bigs to set picks and help them space the floor for shooting. Yi can do this just about as good as any big in the league. I also like getting him in an extension/contract year playing alongside competition with Hill. They should be able to push each to deliver their best every night starting in practice.

MARVIN WILLIAMS

The Miami Heat is thrilled to add Marvin Williams to the Heat's potent lineup.

While he has not lived up to the lofty expectations of a former no.2 overall pick, Marvin Williams is still an extremely talented young player that can play both forward positions for us coming off the bench. A big, strong and athletic combo forward, Williams has noticeably improved his overall basketball IQ, defensive versatility and overall preparedness as an NBA player.

Still only 24 years old, the 5 year NBA veteran brings both present day productivity as well as long term projectability. An extremely confident and skilled player, we will look for Marvin to provide some leadership on both the offensive and defensive sides of the game for our second unit.

We believe that being surrounded by the players on this team will also help him evolve into a more intense, meaner individual and will stress on him to use his physical strength to attack to basket instead of settling for jumpers (something that should not be hard since he has already improved in that area in recent years).
