Carmelo needs to demand a trade to Denver so he can finally get a championship. Either join us or lose against us.

Hmmm...it's going to be tough. The Heat's next 3 picks are all before 261 and I just flipped my bottom of 13th rounder for a 12th rounder with I am Ra so he can move up 3 spots in this round.

I absolutely loooooooove your 1st Unit. Not a Big fan of your 2nd Unit (they seem like polar opposites).

Harden and Gallo work VERY well on the Perimeter and you have Horford and Lopez to man the post. One plays Offense, the other Defense (just like my Big Men).

I would flip Goran and Derek since Derek would play better with the older, slower 2nd Unit, and Goran with the faster, younger 1st Unit.

I agree with this sentiment....

Also I think Brand can fit with your team more than people think. But they are a plodding unit (Except for Allen), the second unit I mean. But they can be effective in certain situations.

Thanks Mags...

It's likely that Dragic will receive the majority of the minutes at the 1. I'm just not sure if he's ready to be the full time starter just yet (probably by around mid-season for my particular roster). Dragic has been tutored under one of the greatest decision making PG's in the game, now he'll be able to learn from one of the most experienced "big game" Points in the game as well. Fisher is there for his veteran leadership and to ease the transition of Dragic to the Starting Lineup.

As to the bench...Polar opposites may be a bit of a stretch, I'd rather call it "complementing your roster". Each offer a different adjustment and allow Popovich to put the Mavs in the best position to win on a nightly basis. What they all do have in common however, is that each player on my roster has the smarts, IQ, and defensive ability to play sound-structured team basketball.

I'm also considering starting Brand at the 4 and moving Horford back to the 5. Maybe RoLo can add some of that luster off the bench, balancing out my 2 units.

I envision all 3 to see quality minutes. I can go Brand/Horford, Brand/Lopez, and Horford/Lopez. I just saw this as an opportunity to have a very nice complimentary big rotation.

You have some key young guys in Dragic, Harden, Gallo, Horford, and Lopez who will make a really nice starting 5 for years to come. You definitely stuck to your guns of building a franchise and not just a team for this year. I can see you sneaking into the playoffs, if slept on. You have your leader in Fisher, your energy boost off the bench in Allen, and a nice backup to Horford in Brand. I just don't see a go to guy, which could be a preoblem down the stretch of games.
