This is the one I'd put money on if I absolutely had to. I don't think he's going to be happy being the third guy indefinitely.

I think the Heat should deal Wade in a couple of years for more roster balance and a legit defensive center.

And I think that's one of the dumbest ideas I've read on this board

+10000. Two statements and one is dumber than the other one. Right, Bosh didn't know he'd have a reduced role when coming here. If he wanted to keep on being the man he could've staid in Toronto or gone to New York or New Jersey. But he was sick and tired of having to carry a team full of crap, just as Dwyane was.
Trust me, EVERY player who's not about his personal legacy, or not least not just about it, will happily be a part of this team. If you've ever played basketball you will understand the logic behind it. It's nice to be in the spotlight and be the man for a couple of years but if you fail over and over again, you are just tired of it, especially when you got as close as LeBron got.

Heck, Dwyane has been there and all he wants is to go back. So with that being said, the whole "it won't work because they will have trouble accepting their roles" thing is complete bs. I don't even think their roles will be reduced, they'll just be so much easier.

Oh and trading Dwyane really? Well you must be a Raptors fan since it was your franchise that didn't draft him in '03.

This is seriously the dumbest thing ever. This isn't a Miami problem this is an everyone problem. If anything Miami is better prepared to weather an injury than say Chicago (Rose), LA (Kobe), or Magic (Dwight) because we do have 3 all-stars. Does it make us worse? Of course, but it's not like we're a .500 team if one of them goes down.

i never said it was a some miami specific problem but i was more or less just throwing out onto one post all the problems out there that could happen and to be honest ignoring the injury one none are very likely at all.

 then again bosh literally going invisible could work to the heats advantage if they played it right 8-)

Very good point. Tough to defend him I would say. I bet he could set some vicious screens.

Lol at the guy who said the heat should trade Wade later on?

Wade will still has a really good chance at being a top 5 SG 3 years from now barring injuries, Bosh not sure about that, as hes barely a top 5 PF now..

Who else would you have in the top 5?
Nowitzki,Duncan,Garnett is getting on and I would rate Bosh ahead of,Gasol ? Bosh is better then Stoudemire,Boozer,Randolph who would be the next ones unless im forgetting someone.

Bosh is getting very underrated. Gasol is getting very overrated. He was in the same position as Bosh before he went to the Lakers.

I'd be more worried about who he thinks will overtake Wade at the SG position in 3 years. JJ? Tyreke? Roy? With Kobe out of the league or at the very tail end of his career by then, and barring any KAJ or Duncan-type shooting guard (awesome right out of the gate) appearing out of thin air somewhere in the world, those three plus Wade should be the top SGs, and I have my doubts about whether any one of them will be better than Wade at that time.

He's the best SG in the league right now and Kobe's not getting any better anymore so who is supposed to surpass him? I just don't really see anybody.

So if it's two years down the road and Wade is starting to break down physically and you had the chance to trade him for Dwight, you wouldn't do it?

Highly rational.

Are you suggesting that Orlando (or anyone) would trade someone of Dwight's caliber for someone who is breaking down physically? Seriously? That's highly rational to you?

There's a possibility of that with any player, isn't there?

How are they going to stop us?

Voodoo Spells, Curses, Death, 1% luck, nearing playoff time (Miami Triad are resting)

I Still Wonder what kind play in offense will this team specialize in :P
Y'all are just mad because y'all don't got swagger like Lebron has. It is a scientific fact that Bron's swagger has the power to transform an otherwise level-headed adult male into a jealous woman.

There's only one basketball.

In the late 70's Philly had Dr.J, George McGinnis, Doug Collins, and World B Free, all of which were fantastic scorers. But they didn't win the title because basketball is a team game with only one basketball.

The Heat have LBJ and Wade, and yes, they are great players. But the Heat doesn't have a dominant center......let the team play together for a few months before ordering the rings just yet...

In my opinion, Heat fans who have bought into the "Big 3" media hype will be in for a letdown with Bosh, who might be the most overrated forward in the league. Bosh isn't known for his defense, and has a reputation as being soft. On a team with Wade and Lebron, Bosh will be a role player who will go along for the ride.

As dominant as Wade and LBJ can be, unless the Heat develop a dominant inside game, they won't beat Boston or LA. The Lakers are a huge mismatch for most teams because they have three seven footers, plus a bruiser, plus Kobe. Kobe would negate either Wade or LBJ, while Artest's defense would hold down the other. But Miami would have little to stop Bynum, Odom, and Gasol from dominating the paint.

Remember who was getting called soft too? Oh, I think it was Gasol. Bosh is the perfect fit next to Dwyane and LeBron with his abilitiy to knock down outside shots and attack the basket from the perimeter. He'll force opposing bigs to come out of the paint and open it up for our two superstars.
On defense, he's playing alongside superior talent than he did in Toronto and on Team USA, Bosh has proven to be able to hold his ground against other bigs. So with that being said, I think people tend to underrate Bosh's abilities. He's athletic and has extremely long arms, two things that can be very helpful in order to be a good defender.

So Kobe is going to turn into a defensive stopper against Dwyane or LeBron now? Right. He could never stop Wade before, except for the 06/07 season when he was hurt, but now he's going to lock either of them down? Artest might stand a chance against LBJ but nobody in this league can really lock him down. His strength and quickness for a guy his size are unique and with the teammates he has, his playmaking abilities will help him to be extremely efficient even without scoring the basketball.

Plus, on a side note, basketball is not a game of 1-on-1 matchups, which is something everybody seems to assume since we got our squad together. It's a team game and thanks to our high talent level and different kinds of players, we are versatile and can adapt to any team in the league.

Oh and as far as I remember, we beat the Lakers at AAA last season and were a lucky Kobe gamewinner away from beating them at Staples too and I think the Cavs crushed those Lakers at Staples and beat them at the Q. And both of those teams didn't have the talent level we have right now.
