Based on that one preseason game Kleiza is now considered a top 10 SF in the NBA.

On a serious note, if Kleiza continues to shoot at a reasonable % for the rest of the season, he may have better value than Bargnani. His aggressiveness and ability to score in a number of ways while not being much of a detriment without the ball is something Andrea lacks in his game.

As a bench player and in the Euro league he exhibited skills to be a possible top 10 player in his position. I'm not saying he will be but if I was a betting man think the odds would be favourable that he would be in 8 to 12 range. Playing behind Melo and Martin was difficult for him but he put up good numbers. Its not unlike Gortat playing behind Howard difficult to know really how good he is?

I would not be at all surprised to see Kleiza have a better statistical season than Paul Pierce, who averaged 18/4/3 on 47% last season. i think it's starting to look likely that Kleiza will not be our second best player, but our best.

he might average 15-20 ppg best case? what percentage do you give that best case of happening? do you watch nba basketball and see the type of players who score 20 ppg?

15-20? I'd make bets based on estimated certainty of 75% or so. do remember that there are MANY basketball players capable of putting up 15 ppg given ample opportunities.

This guy is clutch and has a good chance of being our best player , actually like the fact that we have a variety of player that can be our go to guy - Demar, Weems, Bargs, Dorsey and Barbosa.

I know first preseason game, this guys not afraid to attack the net and is exactly the type of player we need (a big body that can attack the net) He has some upside in him and still hasn't had the opportunity in the NBA to show how good he really is. So far he looks pretty decent and has every reason to grow so i'll include him until he proves me wrong.

we really were in need of a player like Turk (but better).

we need size at the 3 because DD and Weems are both a tad undersized on the wing. Kleiza not only has size, he can use it.

we need ball savvy and decision making. kleiza's more of a power forward than a point forward but he makes confident, even aggressive decisions with the ball.

we need shooting prowess at the 3, again, because Weems and DD aren't quite there. Turk's shooting didn't really cut it. Kleiza seems like the better overall shooter at this point in their careers.

we need rebounding at small forward and everywhere in our lineup because we've got some size and rebounding issues in the frontcourt. Kleiza should be a top 10 rebounding small forward this season.

we needed a no-nonsense guy that can lead by example and play the right way under some pretty tough circumstances (young team, losing, toronto media, etc). kleiza is as good value you can hope to find in NBA free agency.

Derozen is not ready to lead this team and be the go to guy, Andre Bargnani will never be go to guy...ya you can say that the closest thing Raptors have this season as go to guy is Klieza who I think will easily lead the team scoring if he gets the minutes...

MIP ... 2010/2011.... Klieza

MIP is definetly in his reach. I can't see him averaging any less than 16/6 on great %s.

According to the logic of some people in this board, Joey Dorsey will be the DPOY.

andrea played "dumb" again... he just cant seem to make good decisions...

kleiza was killer, he can shoot 80% of the time if he keeps knocking them down like he has been.

I thought he would be a great player for us, and I thought he was the best signing no matter who else we got. Chandler etc. Last year I felt the same way about Jack. You can tell the guys that work hard and have skill, they always are a plus to a team and its showing again.
