I had no issues with it.

My 7 teams

Raptors
Heat
Chicago
Magic
Thunder
Lakers

Now I'm trying to decide between the Kings and the Blazers?

Thoughts?

Paradokz, have you been able to pick your seven teams? I thought you couldn't pick till the 26th.

Duff, this is the link to sign up. You need to do the thing in Off Topic Canada forum.

I did this last year and it worked out great. I wouldn't recommend picking all 7 teams right away since once you pick you can't change your selection. If there aren't 7 teams that you are super interested in I would just leave a couple slots open until a month or so has gone by and some sleeper team has had a chance to show up. Ex. last year I wouldv'e picked Milwaukee over New Orleans if I'd just waited a bit. Not like I watched many Hornets games anyway.

No there's not... ESPN, TNT, ABC, and NBA TV games are blacked out for everybody here... There's no way around it...

Although I don't know if they're blacked out for people outside of North America... Anybody with experience with that?

I had NBA League Pass Broadband International last season and if my memory serves me right there were no blacked out games. I think that outside North America they black out no games or only the games that are broadcasted in your area.

How many nationally televised games are there for the Raptors? I'm looking at their schedule on the website and the info seems really sparse this time around. They're only showing games on rsn and Sportsnetone.

Probably 0....We won't be on ESPN, TNT, or ABC this year for sure... Perhaps 1 NBA TV pity game later on in the season but I doubt even that....

The league pass page automatically directs to ILP now. So I'm guessing they're offering ILP to Canadians now, meaning national games won't be blacked out? That would be sick. But then all the Raps games will be blacked out. And I'm not sure using a proxy will do anything cause ILP is for outside of the states, so an american IP address won't do anything. I'm hoping international proxys will do the trick. Anyways, what about people that have already ordered? I ordered a few weeks ago and my login doesn't work with the new ILP page. I'd much rather have this ILP then the american one..

NBA is stupid. If there were no black outs of any kind so many more people would get the broadband pass. Their way of thinking is just (Please Use More Appropriate Word). If you had a choice obviously you'd watch the game on TV but most of us can't. So we end up using "underground" links. At the end of the day they gain nothing by blacking games out.

I've noticed this as well. I subscribed to the US-based League Pass last season, but my subscription was not automatically renewed like it was supposed to.

Friday's game is on TSN2 so that's a good way to check if a US or European proxy will do the trick. A Euro proxy might also allow you to watch TNT and ESPN broadcasts.

Scratch that idea. Free preview games aren't blacked out.

Yeah but would be double dipping. Hard to charge networks for exclusive rights to televise your games when you're serving the same content in their region.

It seems that this may not be the case anymore: Canadian IP addresses are being automatically directed to the international site now... and Hotspot Shield is no longer a viable alternative.

And since the NBA enforces the Raptors blackout restriction all across Canada for this service, it looks like illegal streams are going to be the best way to go.

If a Euro proxy allows me to watch Raptor games, then ILP is much better. No blackouts for TNT and ESPN games, and the option for playoff games.

What software are you using to get a euro proxy?

Yeah, looks like they've smartened up a bit...

But there's always a loophole... This is the internet after all, you can pretty much get around everything... Just be patient and somebody will find a way to get around it...
