Yeah but would be double dipping. Hard to charge networks for exclusive rights to televise your games when you're serving the same content in their region.

Its hard to change exclusive rights?
Its the leagues (NBA, MLB, NHL) who tries to hold on to the video contents.

They can also display advertisements from local TV stations, but on league pass, you see they never did that.

What software are you using to get a euro proxy?

I'm still looking for one. If I can't find a free one, I'll try one with a free trial period and see if it works.

Free trial isn't blackout out any games. Last night's game was working.

The prices are now up at the site. $100 for the standard package with 24hr VOD.

Time's like this that living in San Antonio is great.

Boring Spurs blacklisted, and awesome teams semi-close by. I need to invest in Thunder tickets/road trips this season.

Raptors, OKC, Lakers, Miami are gonna be my starting picks for the League Pass, gonna save three for wildcard teams. I just don't care about Boston/Orlando enough.

The choice package is only for Americans. This package is better, all teams available.

I'm watching the Miami game right now on League Pass. TNT is the broadcaster.

dont think that will be the case when regular season starts...

If all games were shown on it without black outs I'd buy it right away. Probably would even pay more. I don't get who these blackouts actually benefit? They think people like watching games on their computer versus a TV? I don't get it? If i could watch all games on TV i would.

I was definitely going to get the package this year but I don't like how they separated Canada/USA. I think we will be unable to use hotshield to get around raps games. I'm assuming if you have american IP (which is what hotshield is) you won't be able to access league pass.

I wonder how their billing works. Does it only look at IP or it looks at your credit card to determine which package you can buy.

My guess is that we'll be able to watch TNT games if no Canadian channel is showing the game, and if they are, then a Euro proxy should work.

Is there a Euro Raptor fan out there that can confirm this?

I'll hold out on buying it after this terrible news.

I have not tried it, but i suppose it's possible. The League Pass website says that blackout's may only appear in Canada and Spain. So if you use another euro proxy it should be possible.

I asked them your question last year, since I traveled back and forth.
They say it depends on the IP, and not your credit card.

You can ask them again, and maybe they separated Canada/USA to have better support in Canada, otherwise, it would be a poor decision.

i had no luck with European proxies last year. I hate **** around with this when I actually pay for the product. Would probably have to pay for a reliable European proxy.

I'll try free preview anyways and decide if i want to keep it. Probably will get package that comes with app for the iphone.

So, if it works on an IP basis, then you should be able to activate hotspot shield, enter your credit card information etc on the American site and then also watch games using hotspot shield on the American league pass site.

Like others, I'm going to wait and see on this; I'm not paying $100+ dollars to sit through an entire year's worth of blacked-out Raptor games.

For all of those who tried Choice...I just got an email telling me they made a mistake signing me up and issued a full refund.

If I want, I can do NBA Canada League Pass.

I like the new lay out and options. Like the way you can pick blocks/dunks and so on and it will show where each happened.

Don't like how there is only 3 options for screen size. I think single game view is too big sometimes, 1/4 view is too small. Need 1/2 option or resize option.
