Re: ABA 2010-2011 Season Discussion Thread
It seems as though oursportscentral has at least partially stopped covering this league. No idea what's going to happen to it.
I found someone posted the power rankings for this season. But, don't quote this because the teams are in flux as usual, and someone unaffiliated with the league posted this:
ABA Preseason Power Rankings 2010-2011
1. SETX Mavericks Defending ABA Champions
2. Kentucky Bisons Last season's runner-up, 2008-09 ABA Champion
3. San Francisco Rumble Last season's west coast champion
4. Jersey Express
5. Chicago Steam
6. Lake Michigan Admirals
7. West Texas Whirlwinds
8. Los Angeles SLAM
9. North Texas Fresh
10. East Kentucky Energy

Re: ABA 2010-2011 Season Discussion Thread
I remember sending questions to the commissioner a long time ago about this league. This league expands far too many times for it to be considered legitimate. What the NBA should do is take a look at some of the markets of these franchises and absorb a few of them to assist in guaranteeing every team with a D-League affiliate.
