It felt too much San Fransisco on the field after the game.

Congrats on winning the WS,hope the Phillies have a rematch with the Giants next year.

Very happy for the Giants and their fans. But again this reiterates my problems with baseball. On paper the Giants and Texas are either evenly matched or Texas is an inch better. On paper Philly is clearly better than the Giants. The Giants managed to beat the Phillies outright and crush Texas not because they have that much a better team, but because their team played better. Which is fine, but in every other sport with 7 games series if a team is clearly better they play better. Which is probably why the olden day format of the best AL and NL regular season teams just winning the pennant was probably the most fair for determining the best team, albeit of course business wise it can't be that way

Congrats to all Giants fans, it's been awhile for you so really enjoy it.

Mufasa, I'm with you for the most part. It just takes a team to get hot. I think most Giants fans know if they stacked up rosters 1-25 theres would not be the top. They got hot at the perfect time and pulled it off. I do wonder where this team rates with the rest of world series champions.

Pitching wins championships.

The Giants have the best pitching in baseball.

Suck it, haters.

lol at the haters. This is great.

We win on the backs of four home grown pitchers, and it's "getting hot at the right time". A little credit to Sabean would be nice. Pitching does in fact win championships.

Its called Intangibles and drive, and dominant pitching. What you look like on paper doesn't win you game

It's not anybody hating on the Giants. They got it done and won the championship. There is no denying they did a great job bringing in the right pitchers, they were the best team in baseball when it comes to pitching. Hitting wise lets be honest this is not what you think of when you think Championship caliber. Great job by the Giants, but I'll never think this is the best team in MLB in terms of what their peak could be.

I was pulling for the AL, but the Giants were clearly better in this series.

That's life.

Well then we'll have to disagree then, when i watch the playoffs i saw team that never put their heads down when they got down, unlike Texas who seemed to fold when they went down in the game. They were a confident team and always got clutch hits. Those are intangibles too me
