For international league pass: how many IPs can be using the account at the same time? Do they monitor/restrict this sort of thing?

VPN service i signed up for decided to ignore me completely, trying to get money back. I don't think I'll be buying a league pass though. Raptors are so bad and NBA makes it so hard to watch them...so whatever.

I feel you. But it is well worth it. $100 in HD. If you are NBA fan its well worth it. You can catch parts of all games in HD. Much better than the american version last year.

I have being able to watch the games in HD and buffer free including Raps/and other blackouts. It is not too complicated either. Give me shout for instructions if you want.

I send you my response. Not sure if you got it the first time or not. Maybe it went into junk folder.

Also for those I send the email, I'm curious if it is also working for you.

There is no difference and its not doing anything other than just setting the proxy. They do have longer lasting proxy IPs though. I tried the method you suggest and if you disconnect, you timeout after couple of minutes. Maybe you are doing something else when you disconnect or how you disconnect. If you can elaborate on how you disconnect that would be great.

For those interested on the method I'm using, email me at saanweyn2k2 @ hotmail.com. I'm hesitant to post here in case my instructions violate the forum rules.

I only get time outs if i'm sharing with another person...
This is what i do in IE:
Use Autohide IP to get a proxy (they have some pretty fast proxies, just need to find them.)
login to ILP
select the game... when the video is streaming over, unhide IP. I do not timed out.

If all else fails, my friend is using StrongVPN... crazy fast

I have no idea how you don't get timed out. I always get timed out to the point where I have to leave the proxy on now...

Hi,

I discovered a few days ago an easy solution for your problem and mine :o ... and it works perfectly (without using VPN).

I've been testing this solution for last four days and I've been watching ILP from Spain without blackout :D .

This is the explanation:

I hope this will be useful for all NBA ILP "blackout" fans  .

Bye!

Clever. I had thought about doing the same thing with Fiddler but never got around to it.

Thanks for the post. Even though I'll keep my VPN for Hulu and other things, this is nice for watching high quality blacked out games.

Bump.

I'm considering getting NBA league pass this year, but the packages aren't up yet. Were people still able to successfully get around the blackouts late last season?

Yes last year you could watch all the games including Raptors/nationally broadcasted games on tnt/espn/abc.

However it was trickier than usual since Canadians were in the league pass international (worked out better b/c this was HD while US was standard quality). You couldn't use hotshield so you had to setup proxy ip and it required a little technical know how.

No guarantee same methods will work this year. So I would hold off until the free preview to see if there are any working workarounds. Honestly without these workarounds league pass is not worth it because unless you are fan of obscure team like Memphis or Charlotte, you will not be able to view lot of games that are available on cable tv.

Thanks for the info. I really only need TV for Raptors, so that's why I'm considering league pass over the ridiculous Cable/Satellite TV rates out there.

Has League Pass done a free preview every season?

I'm bumping this thread because all the answers lie in here. Everything you could possibly want to know regarding LP is in here.

Anyways, what package is everyone getting? Wouldn't $19.99 x 4 months be cheaper than $85 for the season?

Are you in Canada? You can use unblock-us.com for Hulu, netflix, etc, for $5 a month.
