Re: COMMUNITY THREAD X
I think the proposed site of the west hall of the convention center is perfect. Like I said before, it'll create a sports fan-friendly atmosphere, with 2 stadiums being right next to each other. Also, it will create a positive economic boom due to availability of holding more events than just 8 football games a year.

The Lakers' section of RealGM needs to be more active.

Man, I wish we had a veteran reunion thread. Grab Miles, EE, Yourself (Trixx, Kno), TyCobb, and all the other great posters from when I first joined back in 06.

What size is the TV? Regardless, he's on rocks.

OT: Napa Valley Wineries
I'll be doing a tour of Napa Valley Wineries as part of a fairly extensive research project dealing with green design and architecture. The purpose of the trip is to study winery integration within the landscape, process of winemaking, and the general feel for the buildings of Napa.
I'm wondering if the board has any suggestions/advice to any wineries you personally have visited/enjoyed, including wineries that were visually inspiring. Any help will be greatly appreciated as it will be my 1st trip to California. I will be flying to San Fransisco in early December for a week. Not the best time, I know, but there are significant time restraints, as this is a thesis for a master's degree which ends in May.
I realize that Golden State Warriors fans are going to be closer, so I'll be posting this there as well. I also understand that this is a fairly active board, so if this is too far off topic, mods can lock if they so choose.
Don't worry, this isn't the primary route I'm taking to do research.
But just wanted to collect any personal experiences or troubles you guys may have had at any wineries.
Thanks for the help, and hope you guys have a injury free, good season (aka smash the Heat or Celtics)

KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?

Hmmm I know mostly the Santa Ynez region and not Napa, but I think the Castle Winery is probably the most stunning I've seen pictures of. The barrell room and exterior are pretty off the hook.
