I wouldn't mind this trade we would get a young scorer and two young bigs, Biedrins contract is pretty bad but meh if it helps us win then money aint no thang. Wright would be a nice throw in if he can get healthy to play and hes an expiring/ we would still have Anderson so it wouldn't hurt if he sucked.

I am a big fan of Ellis the size with him and Nelson does scare me somewhat but at the same time I hoping for a trade this team just doesn't look right to me and we need some type of wing go to guy, hopefully something gets done.

He's only 25 and is in his prime. He only makes 11 million a year and is under contract through the 2013/2014 season.

He averages 24 ppg and is the 7th leading scorer in the NBA and shoots 47% from the field.

I'm not saying he's as good as LeBron because obviously he isn't, but he averages more PPG and has the same number of shots per game (19 shots per game) and shoots the same percentage from the field as LeBron (47%).

If we could get this kid for only Wince and Gortat, I would cream my pants, no lie.

I don't know if there are any truth to these rumors, but if Sheridan is saying he thinks we'll make a move in the next week, we'll see I guess.

I would agree with Sheridan. I don't think VC is good enough or consistent enough for us to lean on as a dominant wing scorer. I really had high hopes for him, but with Shard playing like a prepubecent girl he is leaned on more than I think he can handle. I think VC is playing well, but he isnt the dominante scorer I think the team needs him to be. It wouldn't surprise me if Duhon or Q are gone. More DooDoo than Q. Either way if there is a move than improves the team then Otis does it.

ive been following monta for years. (fantasy bball) kids a beast. he gets steals, points, rebounds, asissts.

i also watch gsw bc i "like that team". monta/curry are sick together because they run the floor quick. if we can beat the other team down the court every posession, we are set bc who is going to stop dwight. half the time he is down court waving for the ball but they dont have an entry pass for him.

Ellis IMO would boost everyones stats simply by switching Ellis to the lead guard when they run the pick n rolls. With monta quickness getting to the basket would be ten times easier plus meer/Lew/bass are all excellent jump shooters. On D we could mix in some zone if his guy starts to light him up or bring pete off thd bench to slow his guy down.

i know you just love vince carter, but ellis plays for golden state. dont expect him to come here and be great. he has to play within the offense and be a play maker. chemistry is important too. i wouldnt give up carter for him, maybe jj and gortat. i wold move vince to the 3.

Dude, if the Magic can add Duhon to the deal, I am all for it. Ellis was a PG first, thus he can spot minutes there and imagine him and JJ out there at times. That would be scary. I know alot of teams inquired about Beidrens, thus he could be a capable backup Center that is good trade bait in a year anyways. Get er done, Otis.

let me say this, i would love for that trade to go through. the backcourt IMO would not be as big of a problem as people think. the 2 guards who would post up monta are kobe, and really thats it. wade is maybe an inch taller than monta, if that so there really isnt an advantage there. ray allen has never posted up. chicago doesnt have an offensive weapon at 2, and joe johnson and jamal crawford really don't scare me haha. out of the western conference contenders no one has a 2 that would take advantage of monta's size except for the lakers, which we wouldnt have to play until the finals anyways. wade would try, but i think monta is a good enough defender to where he can hold his own since wade is not that tall. also, biedrins would almost positively be moved to a third party. possible scenarios include:
