What a great trade for Phoenix, they get rid of fat-ass Torkuglu, chucker Richardson (he's aight) and useless Clark and receive almost expiring contract Carter, sold player Pietrus, and legit starting center Gortat, wow. They are ripping off Orlando here.

Nash and Carter once again gives the Suns a player (Carter) who's (liike Hedo) is most effective with the ball in his hands and we've already seen that Nash isn't willing to relinquish that control. If Carter didn't fit with Jameer Nelson, he's not going to fit with Steve Nash.

The real question now, assuming this deal happens as reported, is what if anything this means for Nash and possibility of moving him. With the team hovering around .500 and seeing yet another teammate get moved, you can easily envision a frustrated Steve asking to be dealt. Certainly a late first round pick and some cash isn't going to placate Nash.

There are some who've called for the Phoenix Suns to admit their window has closed and to being the rebuilding process immediately. This could very well be the first step. What to watch for next is the reaction from Nash and any signs that the Suns might want to flip Carter's expiring contract for some other better fitting pieces.

That would be good for Phoenix too. I doubt it will happen though. They'll start winning more games and trading Nash will look less interesting.

He did. He was awesome with us but reality was he wasn't resigning with us. He's going to want a fat contract this offseason.

I hope this trade happens the magic need a point forward like turkoglu and hopefully hell be back to normal. Never payed attention to richardson and arenas should do better their than lewis. With this trade the suns will be a shoe in for the playoffs and the wizards won't have all of their good players as pgs

And absolutely carried us offensively in the Portland series. He's so underrated on RealGM it's not even funny.

It's been reported that Hedo is only guaranteed 6 mil his last year and Arenas has to take his player option in 2012. If this is true the Magic will have money in 2012.

trading 11mil player who's still playing at allstar level and i capable of running offense like maybe 4 other pgs in the nba will looks interesting? I don;t know mate

Carl Landry for Nelson.

The Kings need another PG desperately, and the Magic need a PF to start or back up Bass. Landry is a terrible rebounder, but Dwight will make up for that.

Makes sense for both teams, IMO.
