lol your probably right, from what i vaguely remember he played the best and scored the most points for them in the first 3 games or so.... I think orlando lost 2 out of the first 3. Given carters reputation as a quitter im not surprised that he disappeared later in the series. I wouldnt blame him either seeing that rashard lewis was a non factor in that series and dwight howard didnt do jack till about game 4. Dont quote me though, most likely im horribly incorrect. im just more biased towards vince (fav player growing up)

That's what they had before the trade..

But now, instead of having a passive chucker, they have an aggressive one on a bigger contract.

I do feel sorry for Carter though, he basically set his legacy back in May when he missed those 2 FT's..

Nice guy, but just never had the mentality to utilize his talent.

Considering the fact that Hedo knows the system, he'll be starting. If anything Arenas will be coming off the bench or they really need to consider trading Jameer Nelson soon.

Now, they should just trade Nelson or somehow get a banger at the 4 and they'll set.

Someone like Anderson Varejao, Louis Scola or Chris Kaman would do wonders for them.

Great deal for both the Suns and Magic. Suns are in great shape, Gortat alone gives them what they've been missing forever, and is a massive upgrade over Lopez.

So i just woke up to read this news. I dont even know what to think apart from Otis Smith can work some trades.

Whether theyre good trades or not remains to be seen.

Poor, poor Steve Nash. First Marion, then Amare, now J-Rich...The guy should just demand a trade and go to a contender. He still have couple of years left and he shouldn't waste them on a team like this.

Can anyone clarify the details of Gilbert's contract? The yahoo report states he has 4 years and $60m remaining, yet his original deal was what? 6 years, $110-120m? Was it front-loaded, or did it include a huge signing bonus in the first year?

The sad thing is i always thought if he got traded this year it would have been to Orlando. I guess not now.
