The thing is at least IMO Arenas has facilitated Young's offensive game. It will take a while for Wall and Young to mesh, but mostly because Wall is a rookie.
True.
If Flips logic of not putting Nick in as a starter is because he is doesn't want to move his cheese while he is working on building up his game and he wants Nick to be comfortable in his success, then I don't think moving Gil just yet fits into the strategy. Nick is really comfortable playing with Gil on the court.
I'm not saying it has to stay like that forever. Just saying I'm not so sure right now if the time to take away Nicks safety bankie.
But maybe in a month, as we near the trade deadline if Nick stays consistent with what he is doing, I could see him being more mature in his success and himself that he would be able to handle this more easily.
Nick is one of those type that you have to be careful with regarding his mind. He was a pretty immature kid when he got here. Turning him into a man and a NBA professional is something that takes timing if he is to get there.
Kind of like Scottie Pippen was weak minded before Chicago grow him into a mentally tough NBA player with grit and mental steal. Remember how he was so stressed out that he got a migraine in that one playoff game and couldn't play. They had to build a Pippen. He wasn't NBA ready Robbin when he showed up, but he had the talent and they brought it out.
