I wouldn't even be suprised if the Seahawks beat the Bears.
Would of been cool to see Vick play the Falcons but not at the Packers expense.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves either way. We barely beat the Bears, at home, when they had nothing to play for - and Seattle, as mediocre as they are, had an impressive win at home versus the Saints and are generally solid at home.
I agree
The Bears defense gives our offense a lot pf problems and if we did face Chicago in the NFC Title game, there very well could be bad bad weather which in inhibits our passing game.
Keep in mind also that in the Bears game two weeks ago, they only had Hester back returning punts. If we met them in the NFC Title game, he'll be returning kickoffs along with punts. Say then that we had to punt 4 times and had to kickoff 4-5 times, some combination of punts/kickoffs could mean having to kick to Hester around 8-10 times. Scary stuff.
I have been as apprehensive about this team and the season as any, but I'm not gonna back off my opinion that the two best teams are playing on Saturday night. I don't even think it's close.
Something fluky could happen in the NFC game and the Bears or Seahawks could make it to the Superbowl, but there's no possible way I'll feel they were the best team.

The Bears defense did nothing to stop the Packers 2 Sundays ago, dropped passes, and 4 critical penalties by Bulaga were killer in that game, regardless of what happens the 2 best teams are meeting in ATL next Saturday, wish it was for the NFC title.

I agree that Atlanta and Green Bay are the best two teams left, but IMO Chicago just has three things going for them that with make it very tough if we had to face them in the NFC title game
1. A good defense
2. Fabulous special teams. If you either punt or kickoff to Hester, he has a history of turning them into touchdowns or very long returns. Play it safe and kick away from him, it can often lead to good field position for the Bears.
3. Home field
If we faced Chicago, i think odds are the Packers win, but maybe only 60-40 type of odds.

We have to keep up the same intensity in this game. Don't let Ryan just focus on Roddy White and toss him 10+ receptions. Have to do our best to stop Turner.
On offense and I never feel there are 'keys to the game'. If the offense just does what it does, it should put up points. There is never an excuse on that side of the ball with the talent we have.

Come on. The Bears defense played pretty well in that game. We had some drive-killing penalties, but give credit where it's due.

Like Philly, our offense matches up very favorably with their defense.

Justin Blackmon would have caught that pass that Jones dropped.

Re: ROUND 2: Dirty Birds Lead-Up
I think this game comes down to the pass rush. If we continue to collapse the middle of the pocket and tip 2-3 passes a game and get 1-2 sacks from interior lineman, I think we'll be in good shape.
Tony Gonzalez was their hero last game. Even though he dropped that 4th down pass which was ruled a catch, he posed the most significant match-up problem. If you have a strong pass rush, a TE will have to line up in the box more often, making it harder to catch passes.
Lastly, I bet Starks' production falls off against the Falcons, and James Jones redeems himself in a big way. All eyes are on Starks now, and the Falcons' LBs are very fast. I'm pretty sure Jones is in a contract year, and rarely does JJ have 2 poor games in a row.

I agree Falcons>Bears but can't take Bears lightly if we get there. Watch Pack blitz Ryan like crazy!

I'm not sure if blitzing Ryan is a great idea.

Re: ROUND 2: Dirty Birds Lead-Up
I'm reading ATL forum and they no nothing about football. "Woodson will be on White all day," "Woodson and Williams are the only 2 guys they have in their secondary," "We need to blitz Rodgers."

Re: ROUND 2: Dirty Birds Lead-Up
Falcons fans are looking at our games from WAAAAY earlier in the season, and are like "They only put up 13 points against the Redskins, they're offense is not a juggernaut." Idiots.

Yes please blitz us Atlanta, Please.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Spread now 2 or 2.5. I expect it to stay right about there all week. I doubt it hits 3. I can't see a huge amount of money going on Atlanta.

I don't like betting against the Packers or any of the Milwaukee teams really as it makes me feel kind of dirty...
If I wasn't a Packer fan, I'd put money down on the Falcons to cover that.

Re: ROUND 2: Dirty Birds Lead-Up
I wouldn't bet on this game regardless. Packers are impossible to beat big, it hasn't really happened whatsoever in the past 4 seasons or so, outside of one or two games.
This will be a close game.
