AFC Divisional Round: Jets 28 Patriots 21 Final

Post#1 » by Rich Rane » Tue Jan 11, 2011 4:21 pm

The game is on Sunday at 4:30 PM.

We need to keep catching these guys by surprise on offense the way Cleveland did. I'm talking more rollouts, reverses, and Brad Smith throwing a pass or two off the Seminole. Sanchez can't also make dumb decisions in the endzone and overthrow guys. He, along with the rest of the offense, need to keep their composure. Our defense has to show up this game. I honestly want Revis on Welker and take him out of the game while the rest of our guys have to step their game up on their two TE sets. And for goodness sake, get some pressure from the front seven.

jets running their mouths again

1) do they realize NE feasts off this bulletin board material?
2) they better back it up

I don't mind Rex talking but Cromartie talking makes him look like the (Please Use More Appropriate Word) he is. The guy has been burnt repeatedly all season and is an incredibly soft player to be making hard statements like that. He better have a great game.

To win we need great Safety and LB play to match up with their TE and RBs I feel our DBs will do a good enough job on the receivers

I'm a Jet fan, but even I have to credit to Wes Welker for his clever press conference.

This was pretty funny. I liked the 'foot soldiers' line. That being said even though Im a Giant fan first Im pulling for the Jets this sunday, I just love seeing Brady and Belichek walk off a field as losers.
Trust but verify.

No he's not. He just gave the Jets what they wanted. You know Beli and Brady gave him some dirty looks. Thats's not their style of making snide remarks. We want them to stoop to our level and now we can knock em out. Lets see what foot remarks he has when Revis locks him down.

Why should they change their identity for the Pats? Their record against the Pats is 1-1, the score going into the game is 0-0 and they've proven to be one of the top 8 teams in the league...I realize people have a problem with Rex because of how brash he is, but he's gotten the Jets to the post season 2 years in a row and he's backed up a lot of his talk... Fans of other teams should stfu and just deal with it, stop whining. I'd prefer honest and brash guys then the cocky, arrogant, smirking with a superior complex style of New England.

Our rush has to keep Brady off balance as well, Pace is a, maybe THE key player for me.

belichicken told his team to not engage in a war of words with the jets.. the jets like to talk, it is part of their swagger, but that is not the pats stype and they are playing right into the jets hands.. would love to see that little midget goober welker come over the middle sunday... should be interesting..

What's the story with Coleman? Hurt knee yesterday? Also Brad Smith is a game time decision but Cro did GREAT returning the ball...why change that?

I like how everyone is saying the Jets are talking too much. That's who they are, idiots. Oh, it's because they're talking about the mighty Patriots, so now it's a problem? Go gargle acid!

 at WW.

Contain him, and pressure Brady. Also, don't let Sanchez throw as much as he did last week unless he is better now and we have a very good shot at winning if we show up to ball.

No he should throw. Sanchez wasn't used to the weather. Their CBs are still babies at the end of the day. The key is tackling. The Jets HAVE to put them down on one attempt. No half ass tackles. If we beat the Patriots we can def beat the Steelers or Ravens.

So an update on our road to the Superbowl...Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, then Ben Roethlisberger. This is probably the hardest road to the Superbowl ever, but hey...we could laugh in everyone's faces when we make it.

Return to New York Jets
