Well if he has strong interest in the NBA, he better not lock himself down in some long contract with a huge buyout, like Rubio did.

What are his measurements? He looks 6'7''-6'8'' to me from those videos.

he sineged last year 4+4 with kk zagreb, wich means he can leave club when he will be 19 without buyout

ipressive for kidd, but honstley league is very week, best clubs join them when adriatic league ends and during game all clubs must have one u-20 player on court
he also played some games with kk zagreb (he is on loan in dubrava) in adriatic league wich is top-5 league in europe and didn't look like libilty, and those were not garbage minutes. his stats are not impressive there, but are ok for kid, but and not true show of his curent quality as he plays mostley of the ball there

So when is the earliest that this kid is likely to be draft eligible. I'm guessing that a lot of teams wouldn't mind drafting him and letting him develop in Europe. That is a fairly ideal scenario if you are trying to build through the draft. If your talent assets are stockpiled in Europe and racking up wins for other teams, you continue to draft high in the Lotto until everyone comes to the U.S.

2013 if it's not changed in the new CBA.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

dario will play the nike hoops summit. he will be the youngest player in attendance.
in his most recent croatian league game he had:
28 points
13 rebounds
6 assists
2 steals
5 blocks
and is now averaging:
17.1 points (6th in croatian league)
8.9 rebounds (t-2nd)
3.1 assists ( 8th)
2.1 steals (t-2nd)
1.2 blocks (4th)
55.2 2fg%
12.5 3fg%
67.7 ft%
top 10 in all 5 major statistical catergories....those are pretty impressive numbers for a kid who will turn 17 next month regardless if it is a weak league. i hope he gets loaned out to an acb team where he can play and learn amongst top competition. the nike hoop summit will be played april 9at 7pm(west coast u.s time)

Looking forward to the game. The World team has a good shot at winning. US team as weak as ever inside. Rakeem Christmas, really?

yeah christmas has disappointed me every time i've seen him. he kinda looks lazy and dumb.
biyombo should feast.
a gilchrist, mcadoo, anthony davis frontline will be long, athletic and active though.
as an aside, how does quinn cook keep finding his way to all these teams? he's not that nice. i wouldve rather seen nick johnson or jabari brown on the team.
to keep this related though, saric and gilchrist should be a dynamite matchup.

Loaned? If anything he'd be transferred but that's highly unlikely.
Baskonia was very interested in him 2 years ago, but ultimately he decided to turn it down cause he didn't want a long term contract. The club wanted him to sign for 8 or 10 years (don't remember exactly) and he wanted to be free to leave much sooner so he ended up signing 4 years (with an option to extnd it for another 4) with Zagreb.
Next season he'll probably full time with Zagreb in Adriatic league.

one more big stage finl, one more TD
Zagreb beat Zalgiris in Euroleague junior finals and Saric finished with 19+14+10 showing once again he is not just unique talent, but also great wining metality
finished tournament with 20+12+6
another kid deserves metnion. 95. born Mario Hezonja. Finished tournament with 21+9+2, in finals had 19+6 despite being 2 years younger than most of competition

Re: Dario Saric - The Next Big Thing
Saric is a TALENT. And he does everything on the court, scores, rebounds, passes, steals, blocks. And sure, many times in youth categories you see players who are far more phisicly developed than their oponnents, so they dominate on pure strenght an athletisicam, but Saric is not one of them. He just knows basketball and wants every loose ball more than any other guy on the court, that with his eyepoping talent makes him standout, skyscraper high
, above the rest.
If he continues to progres and improves two major things, shooting and strength, he will truly be a unique basketball player. Beacuse if you put a big body on him he will pull him out on the perimeter and break him every time, than if you clog the lane to the basket he will find the open man due to his court vision. Than if you see thats not working, you put a smaller sf on him to match his speed and he will take you inside with force( he may look thin now, but he fights like a bull and watching his father(ex bbal player) he will be a beast some day) and command a double team from witch he again finds teamates every time.
I´m exicted to see this guy in the NBA soon, he will be a joy to watch for every bbal fan. Imagine Nash like assist from a 6 10 guy...

Looks like somewhere between Hedo and Gordon Hayward to me. Should be an NBA player.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

I saw him. He's been progressing very well, more physical and athletic than I remembered him. From a NBA perspective, he may very well be a more interesting prospect than Saric (who's himself a quite intriguing one).
