I haven't even reached the stage where I know who's going to be on the board. I don't think we're going to have clarity until early May, much later than I would normally expect. One thing about the Euros in this draft, they won't be deterred by the lockout because they can stay in Europe with their draft position pre-determined, and avoid a deep 2012 draft where they might get sideswiped by a number of players who skipped the 2011 draft because of the lockout threat.
Irving is still my preference, maybe Perry, but after that, I'd almost prefer a player who can remain active through a lockout rather than a prospect NCAA player who will be working out - without coaching or summer league - for nine months.
