If we win this year it'll one of the Lakers best runs EVER. Going through (most likely) Dallas, San Antonio, and Boston -- all without HCA. That would be impressive as hell.

This must be Kobe and Pau's secret plan. They figure that winning with HCA just isn't impressive enough, so they are going to do the unthinkable! If we get the 5th seed and Utah gets the 4th seed, that would be even better!

Cool.

Not to be a doomsayer but be careful while in the city. Miami is a great city but the crime is pretty bad.

Insider trading will be the least of the serious crime over there.

Be careful, U-Borat - I hear the Tripartite is going strong in Miami.

I got a Macbook air as a gift. Wouldn't want to give up the pro, but dammmnn the solid state drive is fast! boots up in 11 seconds flat. DreamWeaver, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office are up almost instantaneously. Now I curse the Pro for taking 30+ seconds to boot up. Too bad they try to house you into all the special converter hardware for slave monitors, hdmi, firewire, etc...

I bought myself one of these for X-mas:

Doesn't have solid state hard drives (not worth the extra cost, IMO), but it's damn fast and runs Starcraft II at high resolution without hitch.

...

BTW, anyone seen Tron yet? If not, go check it out, preferably at IMAX. I thought it was extremely well done all around. The storyline, which gets a lot of heat, seemed just fine to me and was a good follow-up to the original. There could have probably been more action, but I was into it from start to finish so I didn't mind the parts that slowed down a little. The effects (visuals/audio) were absolutely stunning though. Exactly what I'd hoped for. Pretty easily the best movie I've seen this year.

In a year or two when my Pro becomes a slug I'm going to switch to an Air as my lap top. I like to stick to PCs as my desktop because I enjoy being able to tinker with them and upgrade parts and build my own whenever I want for a small fraction of the price of a Mac. However, with my lap tops I enjoy the security and peace of mind and operating system that comes with an Apple product.

As for forums, I was a noob in the Community Thread. I mad a mistake by derailing it.

That was my one weakness as a forum blogger,
but just like the game of basketball you live and learn and get better. LoL

Spero is calling the Raiders-Chiefs game. It's weird to hear him on the TV, but I like it.

Nah, son. It's some character from a Japanese comic book series called "Slam Dunk."

In Street Fighter, yes, I'm a Ryu fan but prefer Blanka.

Today, I bought a Kobe Bryant poster. Looks sweet on the wall. Somehow, Sport Authority sells posters at a lower price than Wal-Mart. I was fortunate to find Kobe Bryant posters in a hoard of Miami Heat merchandise. Yeah, I live in South Florida.
