Ok so I am going to dinner with a friend tonight, any recommendations on reasonably priced restaurant with good drinks? I am not into sushi. Would prefer to stay in west village/midtown west are so I can be close to my sports bar to watch the knicks game. Thanks!

Ok so I need to know if I am wrong or no on this.

Picture it, last sunday night, my friend, 2 girls and I go to the sports bar I frequent. The bartender I have a crush on and am friendly with is there and the bar is pretty empty. So I go and get our drinks, and I chat it up with the bartender and go back to our table. Fast forward a couple of minutes and another hot bartender who is off duty and drunk comes over to our table to introduce himself to me and tell me he sees me there all the time and blah blah. Naturally now I am drunk and a bit distracted.

So then my group of friends go to play pool and as we are setting up I go to get more drinks. The bartender pours shots for myself, him and the off duty bartender (he always gives me free shots). So at that point I give my friends their drinks and start hanging out with the bartenders, lol. My friends leave and I stayed and got to know those guys and had a good time.

So fast forward to today again and I tell my friend, lets go to dinner then back to the sporst bar to watch the KNicks game. He says yes to dinner but no to the bar. Now I know he is at least annoyed that I left them hanging last sunday but is that really fair? He knew I had the crush on this guy shouldnt he get over it? I dont get it, its not like I stopped them from having fun or leaving when they were done. What you guys think?

Do you know that the Bartender is gay? Also just because he dosent want to go to the bar dosent mean you listen to him. Tell him im not going to dinner unless we go to the bar
