Sounds to me like this whole report is getting overblown, and the only news is that the nuggets and Knicks are discussing a deal, but nothing is really close.

that's it rebel. stay strong. it's not over yet.

I think that is exactly why denver is starting to like chandler. Chandler is the best option denver can get in replacing Carmelo's production. They have somewhat similar styles.

Im not comparing the 2 but he is a young option to keep there playoff hopes still alive

Dude he said he doesn't want to go there. If Denver has found a team Happy Walters knows his client may re-up with okay but trust I doubt Denver all of sudden got warmed up to Chandler. If Chandler has the kind of Melo potential replacement then why are we making the trade? Sorry this logic doesn't fly. I'm not saying the trade isn't feasible on paper(for us) I'm saying a lot things don't make sense here.

Minny must be crazy about AR. I hope thats the way it goes down. Would be a wonderful deal.

But honestly this will be good for Chandler to get his shine on and play for a coach at least this season that he is going to love in a good sports town. It's good for AR just for the fact that he is going to play. He needs that more than anything else and it's good for Melo so he can challenge himself to see just how great he really is and it's good for Amar'e and Felton because they now have someone who can carry the heavy load. Felton can tone down the shooting and Amar'e doesn't have to force himself in the 4th quarter.

It makes sense. Denver gets options:
1) They can match whatever offer Wil gets and keep him if they like
2) They can S&T for a player they like better
3) They can let him go and save the money.....

It makes sense.

I lived in Denver and it's honestly a great town. It's not NY but it has it's own flavor. Chandler might like it. Especially if they re-sign Karl. Karl can take Chandler to the next level.

If we somehow got Melo without giving up Gallo, how about doing Felton and Gallo for Stephen Curry?

Melo
Amar'e
Mozgov

You guys better prepare yourself for another piece of ours to be in the deal...but the deal is going to get done. Too many signs have pointed that way since the nets deal went en fuego.

This still can be done in the off-season as Denver holds Melo's BR's too? All options apply the only difference is Chandler wouldn't actually be an asset of Denver's. Matter of fact Denver has another option in the summer by possibly getting a larger TPE(going after the players they want) from S&T with the Knicks. You realize this right?

KG, your name is in really bold letters but that is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.

Have you watched Gallinari play?

If you give MD Melo, you and I and everybody all know in our hearts what he will do with Melo: Starting Power Forward.

Time to bring in Lawrence Frank. He coached Vince, RJ, Kidd to success. He is a defensive coach. He can make it work.

Yes, I'm going to be repeating Lawrence Frank's name often. I think he's the ideal fit for Melo-Amar'e team and you know he won't stick Amar'e at center. We'll be seeing Mozgov man the middle.

I never said chandler would replace carmelo's production but from denver point of view it gives them options. They get a chandler, brewer, and a 1st round pick. That gives them options. Chandler is not in the position in the league to demand where he wants to play. He is a young player that is going to be a restricted FA. The team that pays him gets him.

Denver would try to make the playoffs with billups, nene, and chandler. Have a young brewer come off the bench and have a pretty high draft pick for the future.

The question is about Minni they obviously are very high on AR and the curry contract is very attractive to them because it's expiring.

Aaron Nesmith/Josh Hart/Jaime Jaquez

Steph Curry/Chris Paul/Ryan Rollins

We aren't bringing in Frank midseason, and if we make the playoffs, which we will, Mike is most likely getting extended.

Otherwise, I'd be down for Frank.
