He is the highest scoring fourth option in the league, on one of the lower usage rates, plays D, is clutch, stretches the floor for Melo and Amare, is adaptable to any role asked, and is only going to get better. Him, Melo and Amare will have teams in the penalty within minutes every quarter. He seems like the perfect fit, either at the 3 with Melo at the 4 or in the Manu off the bench 6th man.

That gives them options. Chandler is not in the position in the league to demand where he wants to play. He is a young player that is going to be a restricted FA. The team that pays him gets him.
Denver would try to make the playoffs with billups, nene, and chandler. Have a young brewer come off the bench and have a pretty high draft pick for the future.
The question is about Minni they obviously are very high on AR and the curry contract is very attractive to them because it's expiring.
Brewer is RFA I doubt Denver is trying to lock up two small forwards(Chan and Brewer) going forward when they already have Afflalo and Frobes who are certainly better financial options than both. Brewer is not even a sure starter in this league. The point I'm making Denver can solidify playoffs this season(could make a trade to do so at the deadline) while almost getting the same value in return if they deal Melo to us in the summer.
Agreed about Minny's situation, they may value the pick more on draft day even on a trade. Matter of fact considering the SCRUBio situation I doubt they're ready to move their pick but maybe other firsts they possess.

WTF?
Last year he lead the nets to nearly the worst record ever
Totally overrated.
His best years were because he let Kidd, Martin and co run their game. He's no JVG and he's no Dantoni

What exactly do you know about him?
