To simplify my music tastes over the last 6 months (in order of most played according to Last.FM)
1) Kanye
2) Cudi
3) Jay-Z
4) B.o.B.
5) Beatles
6) Ludacris
7) Roots
7) Wiz
9) Eminem
10) Lupe
11) Cream
12) Lil Wayne
13) Jazz Liberatorz
14) Nas
15) Jurassic 5
It should be noted that Wiz is now probably number 2 or 3 because of youtube and same with Lupe. That's just the **** I listen to in itunes and not on Pandora and **** either.
Imadogg wrote:I definitely need to get some new music. I've been recommended stuff but haven't got around to anything. My guys include Pac, Big, Lupe, Kanye, Nas, Tech N9ne... I can listen to anything really as long it's not the **** they play over and over these days on Power (which I can NOT listen to anymore)
TyCobb wrote:G=K, you need more J. Cole. For a college student, it doesn't get any better than J. Cole.

Beatles, Roots, and J5 I like though. If you ever get a chance to see the Roots live, man, don't pass it up. They put on one hell of a show. One of the few truly talented hip-hop bands left.
G=K wrote:What type of music you looking for? I'd first recommend Kid Cudi (start with the mixtape and work your way up through his recent album) and off your list you should be listening to Jay Z.
Also check out J. Cole and Wale
