We'll keep it the standard.

Seems like half the league gave up right after the draft was over. Maybe it would be better to have less managers.

I think we had too many roster spots. I know my issue was that i was in bloody 15 fantasy leagues this winter... it was too much

last year i was in 3

I don't know if roster spots is the problem. I actually think its more fun to have a few more spots for sleepers and guys who happen to get on hot streaks.

I was in 32 hockey fantasy leagues and 18 basketball leagues this year and I was still able to set my rosters ok every week. :)

Well i couldn't handle it, so i'm cutting back next year. But i was dissapointed i couldn't stay on top of this one so i'm staying.

From different people i've spoken to about this league though, they weren't happy with the massive roster spots, and to be honest, i wasn't either so i want to go back with the standard next year

Congrats Run and Gun!

Who is B-Maddux? he must have offered me 7 trade offers for bouchard, or rolston, but I wasn't budging. I realized I should not have traded Backstrom for modano and boucher. My goaltending sucked :banghead:

Where is it 'massive'? From what I see, I think this year a total of 4 spots extra was added from the year before. That's not a ton by a longshot. Also, with the drag and drop system, setting your lineup is so easy. Under the old classic system it took forever, but with drap and drop they make it so easy to do things.

Also there's a history feature that you can turn on for leagues that run more than a year. Would be cool if you could activate that so we can see the history of past Realgm leagues.

I realized I should not have traded Backstrom for modano and boucher. My goaltending sucked

I realized long ago that I should have drafted Backstrom or Giggy instead of Miller. Didn't think Buffalo would suck THAT much this year. :banghead:

Also FAKKKKK! I just looked at my roster and if I put in Turco I think I might have won! :nonono: :banghead:

Pretty satisfied with the way my season went. I picked up some pretty solid players off waivers that ended up making a significant difference for me...especially in net. I was disgusted as to who the CPU selected for me in net when I had to leave the draft early. Luckily I snatched up Pascal Leclaire and Martin Gerber off waivers.

Good pickups! Leclaire was a million times better than my 2nd overall pick of Miller. :nonono:

And crap, I screwed myself out of a 2nd championship by sitting Turco down lol. That would have made it a 5-5 tie in wins and I would get the tiebreaker in goals. :x I figured he would get the rest today before the playoffs, but I was wrong. :( But overall I'm pretty happy with my year. In the middle of the season I was second last in the league, so to come back to win anything is cool.

Have to hand it to Run and Gun though. He picked up Boucher and Anderson for two goalie wins to give him the league win.

I'm very surprised I won the league this year considering I was terrible last year.

GQ I thought you might kill me considering JS Giguere was hurt early last week. But like you said picking up Anderson and Boucher were solid adds.

Anderson and Boucher won you the league man. :) You also had abit of luck on your side. I think Anderson came in to take over for Vokoun against Carolina after he tweaked his back and he got the win. And then you got Boucher who came in and won you a game too. That was the difference. If you don't pick them up, I get the win, or if I start Turco Sunday I get the win. :x

Oh well. I need to draft better next time. Turco and Miller as my first two picks and I end up getting killed in goaltending anyways. Should have went Backstrom or Giggy instead of Miller. :banghead:

Well, I did about as poorly as I expected to. There just wasn't much of a chance I was going to salvage that draft, especially with an anemic offense in which only one guy topped 70 points.

Congratulations to Run and Gun for winning.

didnt do to well once Crosby went down, Smyth also missed a chunk of time. My goalies sucked and drafted too many defencemen.
