I don't think that's really true. They're upset that they didn't get the players, but there's nothing they can put into a CBA that would stop the Heat from improving except a hard cap, which isn't going to happen. Every team abandoning the MLE and LLE in order to get back at the Heat is completely implausible.

Somebody tried to steal my car last night. I didn't notice until I walked out this morning on my way to class. I have exams in all three today. I have the worst luck.

I bet it was some prick who will never own anything of significant value in their life so they will never appreciate how hard people have to work in order to afford things like a car.

Smashed my window and threw it in the bushes (held together by tinting) and broke my steering column, cracked the door panel, broke my side mirror, cracked the dash below the steering column, and tore up the ignition. AND they pried my trunk open by jamming a screwdriver (same thing used to break the window, I'm guessing) into the keyhole looking for a speaker system or something.

I don't really keep anything of value in my car, but they left my stereo system alone and left my ipod too, so I dunno.

I'm guessing it was a ghetto black guy who likes older, big body cars like mine (Chevy Impala SS) and decided he didn't want to work for one. My roommates (all black) agree. It's funny too because my girlfriend's Lexus 350 was parked RIGHT BESIDE me and they didn't touch it. Go figure

Who knows, I guess they REALLY wanted to take the car and couldn't get it to start and somebody drove by or spooked them (I live in an apartment complex) and they ran. Beats the hell out of me

That's Columbia for you, especially if you aren't living in the best neighborhood. Someone probably wanted to part it out to repair their Impala because if they were going to chop it, that Lexus would have been the first target.

Or perhaps you inconvenienced someone recently?

UNC in the middle of a monumental meltdown in cameron. wow. they have blown a huge lead and now tied. only one team came to play in the 2nd half it seems.

this unc/duke game is comical. tarheels just completely fell apart. looking like a bunch of scared kids in the 2nd half.

Just awful, awful play to start the second half. Turnovers, wiiiiide-open missed 3s, some really questionable decisions on offense, bad defensive rebounding... miserable. It's hard to take UNC seriously when its guard play is so horrific.

Kendall Marshall has played incredibly well ever since being named a starter. He was the only one who played the entire game last night at a high level. There were just way too many missed layups and bunnies.

It doesn't hurt that Seth went **** in the second half and hit just about everything he threw up there (including one where he clearly walked but whatev)

"Incredibly" well? This is like when the announcer said Marshall reminded him of Jason Kidd last night. He's a very good passer, and I'm excited about his future, but I'd like to see him score 10 points in a game before I use the word "incredible." It is pretty amazing indeed to think that he was the only one playing the whole game well, when he shot 3-11 and 3-6 from the line, while Zeller put up 24 and 13 on 10-14 shooting.

The missed layups were not the problem, UNC shot .500 on 2s. The problem was shooting 2-14 on 3s and 59% from the line. They just couldn't do anything if Duke double-teamed on the interior (which they should have done every time). Frankly I'm not sure why every team doesn't just zone us out and wait for the 3s to clank.

The Seth Curry thing doesn't bother me too much... I don't think we're going to see Kyle Singler go 3-17 in the rematch and I'd rather have Curry go off than him. Duke played terribly offensively, the problem is that so did UNC in the second half, and we have them too many second chances after their misses.

Wonder if this guy is a #1 pick? I am not a Panthers fan, but they could use a dynamic player like this to revive the franchise and fan base. Maybe trade down a few spots?
