I was thinking the same thing. Both teams are coming off back to backs too. If that means we'll see more of each team's benches that should work to our advantage though.

Road b2b's. Also I heard Billups questionable. May hurt mavs as Lawson would play more.

Billups is still key for Denver.

Anyways, I expect every player that has been rumored to Dallas (Smith, Melo, Nene, Harrington) to come out blazin trying to show off for Cuban. Hopefully we can match their energy. I feel like this one may be a blowout concidering Dirk's wrist.

"Teams playing in the Pepsi Center the night after a West Coast game have won only twice in the last 32 games"

Looks like this is gonna be a tough one, unfortunately i think the streak is gonna come to an end tonight. :-? :sigh:

I think DIRK will carry the Mavs on his back even with his sprained toe, still slightly sprained knee, and Ian Mahinmi sprained wrist. DIRK can't possibly have 3 bad games in a row. DIRK doesn't play poorly against contenders either.

The streak prolly ends tonight, I expect JJ to start like he did in Boston cuz Peja can't guard anyone on Denver.

Hopefully the Lakers lose in Boston tonight. They're down 8 at the half.

Good news is Denver played in GsW last night too.

Man, where do the come up with this stuff? I think I am going to start taking my dog for a walk and see how many times we win when he hikes his left leg and how many times we win when he hikes his right leg. I mean, there has to be some random pattern that will make you raise your eyebrows.

Well I agree for when you can't come up with the reason behind the pattern.

Yeah, I know there may be 4 reasons to that....in this order.

1) Over the last 32 games where that happened, I bet Denver was a good team.
2) Denver is at home, thus it is an away game for the other team.
3) It is the 2nd night of a back to back.
4) The altitude change.

But what makes someone think about a stat as random as that?

At what point do we tell Peja to quit shooting?

Kidd has no legs tonight. His shot isn't close and not closing out on billups. We got no shot tonight.

I hate Carlisle, he brings Terry in instead of Marion, because unless we play Marion at PF we're not going small. Stevenson is a good defender at SG so put him on SFs, and Marion is a good defender on SF
so put him on PF.

We're going to get destroyed.

Dirk is doubling on melo, then melo is kicking it out, the nuggets swing it to weak side, Dirks not rotating and it's just a wide open shooting drill for Denver.
