cut the garbage

LAL is not in the mix.

If you watched the telecast last night marv said he asked phil jackson himself and his lakers contacts and they said they were not involved and are 100% committed to Bynum.

combine that with the LAL report and Hahn's report...
they are NOT in the sweepstakes.

just stop it. why do you keep pulling this stuff? it's unreal.

I was told No Chance that LBJ would go to MIA. This board balked at the first mention of MIA and most didnt believe it right up until "the decision"

ya just never know......and LA may be one of the quietest team in the league when making deals. the news just doesnt break till its done. sure as hell wont be broken by Alan Hahn.

It's the loss of felton vs the loss of either gallo or fields.

Since we would be getting Billups back for 2 years he would be a servicable backup and maybe we could even pry ridnour away from MIN to backup the older billups.

In two years billups huge contract is up and then maybe we can go after paul or williams. This would be best case scenario...plus we still have a lineup of Billups, Fields, Anthony, STAT, Mosgov and Gallo off the bench.

U have billups expiring, first round picks, and gallo or fields to trade to get paul. That how you do it.

i can guarantee you right now it doesnt work.

we wont have enough minimums on this roster to work. stop with the pipedreams. Unless the new CBA allows for contracts to be re-negotiated in good faith paul is not coming.

I was saying that was best case sitiuation. That may bea pipe dream. But we can find PG in the draft or sign a MLE for one that does the same thing felton does. The point i was making was Gallo and Fields are 10 times more valueable the felton.

With that 20/20 hindsight you must think your a real smart guy!. NOT! LOL

LAL is not even in the mix, the NYK will come back, the fans have always been antsy (nothing new), donnie has already addressed the option issue, which is no biggie and donnie will not be forced to give up more. LOL, Your just batting a big fat zero, you really aren't as smart as you think.

how do you know that there is any deal to be made?

there has been only 1 concrete rumor of an offer we've made

and ever since donnie's been constantly telling us that he doesnt know what denver wants because denver wont talk to him.

so how do you know that we waited too long?

stop peddling it.

under the current rules it wont happen. unless the cba drastically changes it wont happen.

and the last thing the new cba will do is to concentrate power to the upper echelon markets.

for months around the FA period there were rumors that they were all friends and that they all planned to get to FA together. this was widely reported but no one connected the dots until it was too late.

for months there were scattered reports that said that they were all friends.

LOL at Melo's production meaning that he's staying.

If Melo couldn't produce, then we wouldn't want him.

Watch this: Melo's increased scoring means that a weight has been lifted off his shoulders because he knows he's leaving.

I am not sure how is it that we waited too long when Denver has not wanted to talk to us since September. This is the first couple of days that we have actually even heard rumors of what they may want from our roster. We are not too late to the dance, the Nuggest just showed up to it.

The answer to this question is that the people who are claiming we could have gotten this done weeks ago aren't intelligent. Or at the very least, aren't applying their intelligence.

LOL @ any fool who thinks the asking price is something BEYOND the Knicks can afford. Because if you see your star is playing this well and you have a chance to at least get beyond the first round and have a LEGIT shot at re-signing him (and melo has SAID he'd take the offer seriously IF he stays by the deadline) HELL YES you are going to KEEP Melo.

Agreed

Felton isn't on the same planet as CP3.

Look at CP3 and who he is doing it with. Put him here instead of Felton with Amare? My God...

And he would actually pass the ball to Gallo and make him so much better.

I never said Felton was substantially better. I never suggested Felton was better at all. I think most got the point I was trying to make. He has taken a step back. But he is not as bad as people are making him out to be. And I provided a reason as to why he has taken a step back. Whats the problem?

Donnie hasn't waited to long, it takes 2 teams who willingly want to trade, and are accepting of the outcome.

Does NY want to trade: Yes
Would NY be happy with the outcome: Yes

Does Denver want to trade: Probably not
Would Denver be happy with the outcome: Probably not
