I hope the "filler" is Sheldon Williams and/or Melvin Ely. As much as I love Birdman, his contract would make a Chris Paul signing very difficult.

Sorry to see Gallo & Ray go, but this is pretty damn good IMO. It would mean we'd have to go HARD at somehow landing Chris Paul.

Ujiri didn't do ****, Melo was the one who played us.

Oh yeah I deff agree, but there was alot of hope that Gallo would not have to be included. Had high expectations and a little let down, but I'm sure Melo will make us all forget.

A lot of people are mad about Melo making certain extension statements and not just coming out and saying he will only go to NY. What we have to realize is he is technically still a Denver Nugget. He has been the face of their franchise for the past 8 years and he does care about them therefore he doesn't want them to get raped. He was also adamant about his situation not being compared to the Leballerina decision. He's been trying to please three sides which is really tough to do. (His $$, Denver, Knicks). This deal is absolutely ALL I would offer, probably a little more. but at the end of the day, you have to pull the trigger.
