Key is Billups being willing to play here....which if Melo has taught us anything...he will IF the Knicks pick up his option for next season.

If the Pistons and Hamilton agree to a buyout adding Rip would be the next step. Then proceed with bringing back Barron, maybe Telfair will be here too (in the Randolph to minny for 1st trade).

Maybe take a chance that Sean Williams has matured some and that with all the vets on the team hell be kept in line.

Oh Chauncey will come here. He'd love to be on this type of stage as a finale to a real nice career. He has some ball left in him and he would be a great tutor for Toney Douglas. If NY can keep Moz and Fields, I am good with this trade. I never wanted to lose Landry Fields

I'm not that cynical but even if you're right and he's me-first, than it's in his interest to protect his image and not look like the bad guy in this by letting Denver negotiate. Like I said, Felton and Gallinari are not in a recipe for an NBA Championship.
