Man, leave the computer for a couple hours and you miss about 100 pages of stuff.

So now it's Gallo/Chandler/Felton/Curry/AR/pick for Melo/Billups? Denver wins hands down. Thanks Melo for refusing to use your leverage to help the team you supposedly want to play for. Melo better lead this team to championships in the near future.

Sounds close.

Does anybody else think the Nyets will contract and disband if this trade goes through? They can turn the Barclays Center into a soup kitchen.

They should actually be lucky their trade didn't go through. They now have the perfect starting point for a classic re-build with 2012 capspace in Brooklyn. The way they should have played it all along.

So if this deal goes down, do we have to give Incarcerated Bob credit?

Billups is a marginally better distributor than Felton. I'm not really seeing this as an upgrade outside of shooting.

No way.... He throws a softer more manageable pass.

LOL

I'll concede this one. I don't have the heart to debate pass softness right now. Bigger fish to fry :D

Giving up Felton for Billups is terrible....why do Denver even want him, they have Lawson to build off?

What's our record since he took over? The fish rots from the head down.

I won't like seeing Gallo and Feton go, but I would be excited to go forward with the new team.

James Dolan was the only Knicks official to meet with Carmelo Anthony on Thursday in LA. This is now his deal to make.

More vilification of Dolan. Dolan writes big checks, never gets cheap, and wants the team to win. Yes his judgment with Isiah was bad and seems to still be bad. But I find Dolan to be perfectly acceptable actually.

He loses money on the Knicks but just wants to win -- that's the foundation of a good owner.

And does he meddle into Donnie's decisions? Not really. Well maybe today lol. But not often.

I think he's fine. He was conned by Isiah and that was a mistake. But he was more a victim than anything.

Certified Gangsta wrote:you guys (minus a select sane few) are legitimately crazy, what is this overwhelming feeling of completion. There has been NO indication that this thing is even close to done, what is going on. Has this board finally and understandably so lost their minds with all the stuff weve been through in the last 7 months or so. It would be reasonable, but has it happened?

This is one of those situations where it has completely blown up to the point where everyone knows it needs to be resolved NOW. And given the fact that Melo wants to be in New York and not New Jersey and that we have offered a reasonable trade package...it's fair to think Melo to NY will happen soon.

He played it all wrong. Should have stuck to his guns and signed with us in the off-season. The new CBA got him shook

And when he goes down in the playoffs, we'll be bringing that point again and again.
