LMAO

That's one terrible bench. We have nothing left. Stop pretending those players have any value outside of expiring contracts, which will be worthless in 6 days.

Riiiiiiight, awfully easy for you to tell someone to give up 15-20 million dollars just so you can feel good about what your team is doing.

All I said was imagine if he gets lazy because he got paid. Wouldn't be the first time that's happened. Hell, Steven A Smith was saying A-Rod is looking a little round now a days.

But since you brought the money up. It's my guess he would have lost about 10% of his salary or $8 million. Now, I understand that's a lot of money so I'm not criticizing him for it.

But I also wonder if how Rose was telling him he'd lose 50 million is by saying that in the new CBA contracts may not be guaranteed i.e. if you get hurt and can't play (a la Eddy Curry) that you don't get paid. I doubt that will happen but I wonder if he was suckered into thinking that.
Play time is over.

Yes, in the fairy tale knicks world Melo comes out and says he'd rather lose 50 Mill and Denver miraculously decides to give their dignity to us by trading Melo for a bag of chips.. Melo cuts the throats of Denver organization and the fans, and joins the Knicks as is and rides off into the sunset...... It didn't happen that way - lets move on with the situation....... Melo hasn't become any less of a player because of it, we don't need him any less.. our record isn't any better.

Yo,........ nah bro. Speak up now. NOW we have done our part. Seriously. I dont like the deal but screw it. I dont like the way carmelo has played this. These recent comments are touching my heart. **** offensive man. We going all out here. When are you going to speak up and help us out?

Perhaps Melo told Dolan, put your best offer out tonight, if it's not accepted, I'll come this summer, BUT I would prefer to be there NOW.

Why not build the equity with the player by helping him get his money.

Seriously, trading Gallinari does not bankrupt this team of talent. If anything, bringing Melo on board marginalised Gallo.

agreed. melo didn't want to wait for the money, or to not **** over denver, or for whatever. there was no choice.

Well there most definetely is a choice now... Just say no to Fields or Moz. We'll see what Dolan does.
I think he needed to tell them "take it or leave it"... and not leave the door open. Call Melo fukkers bluff.

Hope Donnie can somehow get Ridnour out of this by including Douglas, Walker, or someone like that.

Enough with that 50 Million fairy tale. Stop.

If Melo pushed Denver, they would have folded. Instead, he left his balls in CAA's office.

No clue my man....but the guy is a professional and I think he'll put his best foot forward in NY. I'm certain Amare will see to that.

I can't understand why Knick fans aren't bouncing off the walls at the prospect of Melo being a Knick in a matter of hours! Gallo's gone, so what....I hate to see good homegrown talent shipped off, but c'mon, how legit are the Knicks now as a result?!?!?!? And there's MORE deals to be made moving forward!!!!

...and we all know why A-Rod is looking soft [/needle]!!!!!
