You do not trade a big for a guard unless he is really really really really good maybe I dare say "great" so I don't have to type really a bunch of times

. I say this yesterday you do not trade a big for a guard, yes Courtney Lee is a good fit for us.
But he is not worth if trading for one of our bigs and that is not over-valuing our bigs it is be more like another way around. Frontcourt players is more important in a long run especially in the post-season than trading your bigs for someone like Courtney Lee(and I like Courtney Lee I would trade for him but not at the expense of trading our bigs for him.) or Anthony Parker(I just giving my example.)
As for OJ Mayo I am not a big fan of his but I thought he have talent and a superstar potential I do think he needs a change of scenario which might be best for him. Will I open a deal for him? Sure I would not mind but a few things that maybe a roadblock and this is to think about.
Both OJ and Rose will be free agents next summer in 2012 and unless JR is willing to keep both and pay the tax which is pretty much a big question mark on it for the time being. I do not believe it until it actually happens. Priority #1 get Rose a extension and it is possible that we could lose OJ Mayo unless we traded him to replace him which is fine and dandy if they can pull it off. That will be kinda downgrade but again depend who we get. I know I"m thinking straight ahead but you got to think along those lines.
The new CBA might even plays a big factor for it that is another thing to keep in mind, I mean it might be ok of getting Courtney Lee which won't be much of a factor I do not think. But with OJ who may look for a big pay day.
Again I am open for OJ Mayo but with this season I am not open of trading Taj nor Asik for him unless you give me insurance back especially regarding Taj other then that no. Is OJ worth one of the bigs that is a big maybe but the way he is playing most of this season is hard to say yes it's worth trading the bigs and no that is not overvaluing our bigs sorry it's true.
Remember this phrase:
"Sometime waiting might hurts you but it may hurts you in a short run but it may helps in a long run."
Yes I make that up but if you understand that phrase you will know what I meant by.
Think about it.
