Hypothetically, if we do trade for someone, they don't play tonight, correct?

Not to sidetrack, and I guess on trade day the FO is part of the subject, anyone who continually repeats the same mantra that either the FO:

1) is incompetent

2) never makes mistakes

is likely incorrect with regard to a team that is considered a fringe if not legit contender of their conference.

And frankly just clamoring for TRADES I WANT BIG TRADES seems a little silly. Very few contenders are built by midseason blockbusters. It can happen, it's not a necessity.

Questionmark, seriously? Dude. You have become Mr. Negativity. Whenever things are well, we rarely see you. As soon as things get a bit chippy, you're there. Blaming the FO, blaming the players, pointing fingers, etc.

It's old.

Right.

Give him an off-season to see what he'll do with his game. I think He'll come back better next year and will be worth more than just a Courtnety Lee.

dude cant even catch, dunk, or make fts.

Good to know that's what basketball is all about, dunking and making free throws.

these are all basic moves every big man(7 footers esp) should have including catching the damn ball which you left out. and lets not act like we haven't ripped him for all those multiple pump fakes with nobody around him only to get fouled and not finish....and THEN miss the fts!

if the price for Lee or OJ has to be a big + picks then i wouldn't do it. unless we're getting the type guy that we can't get in FA next year you don't make that kind of trade.

we have a hole at SG but it's not as if we can snag one guy in a trade and it's gonna win us a title this year. if we make a move then it needs to make us better for 3-4-5 seasons and not just boost us for one year.

The chances that Omer gets better are significantly better than those that he'll regress. Defense is important I know that's just crazy talk right there.

Where we are going to face similar problems.

Poor FA class to choose from, having to overpay for someone via trade.

Haven't read this entire thread but just saw the WT where Houston has offered Battier for Thabeet. Doesn't Memphis HAVE to accept that? And when they do, doesn't that make both Lee and Mayo more available?

Memphis gets another wing to make up for the loss of Gay and Houston gets the big they were holding onto Lee in order to acquire.

The chances of him getting better are 0% if he doesn't play? THAT is crazy talk. I'm all about upgrading the 2 spot just like EVERYBODY on this board is. It's all a matter of timing and I think the timing is wrong in regards to Omer. I would trade him in a heart beat if we as an organization had an idea of what his ceiling is going to be, but we don't.

Thibs isn't an idiot if nothing gets done at the deadline expect to see less Bogans and more Brewer.

I feel if I leave for a bit I'll come back to an explosion of happiness. What to do, what to do.
