who has had the assigned on Melo from the 2nd quarter onwards?
I know he torched us the 1st but whoever has marked him in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th has done a great job.
Who was it?

Dahntay has been on him a lot. Makes sense since he dealt with Melo a lot during his time in Denver. Knows his tendencies.

Dahntay's been on him the entire game.

Ooh, that was an ugly stat. During the six-game losing streak coming in, we led by a total of 9 out of 288 minutes. And I assume that includes it when it's 2-0 in the first couple minutes.

Dahntay was very clearly lulling Melo into a false sense of security. He let him get off jumpers in the 1st, but then put the clamps on.

P.S. - Milwaukee got rocked in Boston. Lost by 31, scored only 56 points.

So a win tonight to avoid slipping to 9th plus Milwaukee loses.

Win Tuesday against the Knicks again at home. Then travel to Boston...

I think we're due for a victory against Boston.

YES! Way to go, fellas!

Honestly, nobody had a bad game, even when the scoring wasn't there, pretty much everybody was efficient (such as Foster who didn't score but made Amare work.) Plus, the Knicks point guards shooting a combined 5-26 didn't hurt either.

That Tyler Hansbrough is just terrible. He should never shoot 14 , 15 , 16 times a game. What is he thinking? He is just so terrible.

The whole team brought intensity tonight. It might be because Danny was out and everyone went that extra bit to cover for it.

Lance must be the new team pariah. He wasn't off the bench cheering with the rest of the crew, and he hasn't played in a while.

Devil's advocate says Amare and Turiaf dont play defense.

But since we won when he did well, I'm eating Image

4 20+ points games in a row, with 3 of them away? That's some cajones.

Didn't expect us to win this one. It's nice to win again, yet a alone to a team that by all indications is better than us. Psycho T is beastin' it.

This isn't just me being a Monday morning quarterback, but honestly, I felt we had a chance. Was I confident we would win? Not really. Did I think we'd win by double-digits (especially without Danny)? Not at all.

The reason I was confident we'd at least hang in there was that let's not forget - back in January, we lost by 6.

Plus, that close loss was arguably when JOB was at his dumbest. Jeff Foster started, Roy came off the bench, and Solomon F. Jones closed out during a close game, plus Paul George, Tyler Hansbrough and Dahntay Jones were still nowhere to be seen in the rotation. Plus, look at Darren's counterpart in that game - Raymond Felton, who has a slight edge on him in height and a definite edge on him in strength and body mass. This go-around, Felton was matching up with Chauncey Billups, who is about 35 and coming off a lingering leg injury.

So I was confident, on paper, we'd hang in there, but definitely didn't expect to win by 13.

Granger must be feeling pretty relevant right now.

This is a funny quote from Tyler Hansbrough:

"I got a chip on my shoulder," Hansbrough said. "A lot of people don't feel like I deserve to be in the league, the coach didn't play me in the past because I don't know why, so I come in the gym every day, try to get a little better and prove a point."

Keeping it Pacers-themed with choice (but hard-to-read) yellow font.

Why would JOB think Posey was a better option than Hansbrough? Because he can knock 30% of his wide open 3's?
