you need to waive someone pretrade to get within roster limits. That deadline was Sunday. you can no longer trade to get within the limits, you have to eat a contract before you make any trades. I explained this to you on AIM. Once you eat a contract and get withing the roster limits (which you needed to do 2 days ago) you then can trade. It is plain and simple

Incoming: Iggy(13,531,750) + Wes($4,006,080) + Eyenga( $1,097,520) = $18,635,350

Philly outgoing: Iggy(13,531,750) + Wes J($4,006,080) + Eyenga( $1,097,520) = $18,635,350 x 1.25 = $23,294,187

Timberwolves accept. It's tough to trade away a nice young center but we get back the best player in this deal and a couple nice prospects in Wes J(who is very similar to Batum), and Eyenga who is very athletic and a great defender.

PHI accepts. dont like to see wes and iggy leave in the same deal, but this was a must do trade for me. Batum is better than wes giving me an upgrade there. Not to mention that i got 3 young C's out of the deal, and we all know how hard it is to get good young C's. Bledsoe is a nice touch too 8-)

PHI accepts. We've been constantly looking for a more talented wing, and Iguadala fits that perfectly. Had to take outlaws contract to make the deal work, but he could develop into a nice rotational player for us. Welcome back to philly, Iggy! :D

Accepted. We get a bunch of depth and lose some unwanted salary. I actually prefer Prince over Iggy in relation to this current team.

ATL and IND have a trade to announce.

ATL outgoing:
Zach Randolph $18,500,000
Mike Miller $5,400,000
Thabo Sefolosha $3,550,000
ATL 2012 2nd

IND outgoing:
Joe Johnson - $18,038,573
Grant Hill - $4,000,000

We welcome back JJ to ATL. 19/5/4 is just what we wanted from our SG spot, and we feel that JJ can play the perfect Pippen to Durant's Jordon so to speak. Murphy is a very serviceable pick and pop big who can space the floor. With the scoring that Durant and Parker bring we felt a playmaker (5 assists) was needed.

(*NOTE: I added the deal's math in the quote above.)

Pacers accept. When we first traded for Joe Johnson, I told myself that he was going to be one of the main pieces on our team, and would stay for the duration of the game. However, I also said that when I originally dealt for Zach Randolph as well. We welcome Zach back to the team, and hold no grudges for him choosing to sign elsewhere in free agency. We also feel like Sefolosha is one of the best defenders in the game today, and adds that much-needed toughness to the backcourt. Miller gives us additional sharpshooting from the perimeter.

ATL and OKC have a blockbuster to announce.

ATL outgoing:
Gilbert Arenas $19,269,307
LeBron James $16,022,500
Cook $854,389
Total outgoing: $36146196

OKC outgoing:
Chris Kaman $12,700,000
Kevin Durant $13,603,750 (BYC: 6,801,875)
Randy Foye $4,250,000
Thabo Sefolosha $3,550,000
Erick Dampier $854,389
Carlos Arroyo $854,389
Total outgoing: $35906046 (also works with the BYC salary)

We replace Lebron with a 28/7/3 guy who is lights out from 3 and very young. We can build around Durant for the future and win now with him. Kaman is turning things around and was an allstar last year. The other pieces will come in handy as well.

Switched to Arroyo.

Confirmed. Same reasoning.
