With a mobile 4 on our team (Tyrus), Williams could play 3 on offense and let Tyrus check the more mobile 3s on the defensive end.

I think DW and Irving have moved into a class of their own.

I'd go a step further and try to use Tyrus as trade bait for a top 3-5 pick. If MJ is hellbent on getting Kemba with our lotto pick, I could see Tyrus + DJ + NO Pick for a top pick and maybe a second round pick or two.

I'm on the Kemba train. He will be an elite scorer in the NBA

Walker | Henderson | Jackson | Williams | ??? (maybe Diaw)

That would be a fun lineup to watch.

Tyshawn Taylor, a guy I've talked about for years now, is having a great tourney. He's always been a fantastic defender but has been inconsistent scoring the ball though I'm not sure how much that has to do with not being a high option for Kansas. Watch him tonight (and Marcus Morris) because he might show out.

I like DJ. I don't want to reach for a PG in this draft. With looking into next year crop, we should go big if got a chance.

The best passer in college basketball (Marshall) just tossed up the sexiest alley I've seen in a long, long time!

I'm a HUGE fan of Marshall.

If I am the Knicks, I'd do EVERYTHING I could to draft him. He would be SO perfect for that team it's sickening.

And yes, that alley was on the money!

Damn, I didn't know the Bobcats were playing UNC tonight.

Marquette looks terrible. It's beyond lulz worthy.

If he's smart, he stays in school. He's nowhere near polished enough to be a starter in the NBA.

Guys like him that aren't super athletic need to be above average at just about every other facet of the game. He needs to develop his outside shot and right hand dribble before he comes out.

I'd be all for unloading Tyrus for another pick. Disappointingly, I dont think he has that caliber of trade value though. I was unequivically opposed to us acquiring/signing him to that monster extension and have maintained from the start that, while i like what he contributes, he's nothing more than 13/7/2 guy at best.

We traded a heavily protected pick for Tyrus, and that was before he was inked to a $40 million long term extension and posted underwhelming numbers his first year. While he still has potential and teams are surely still intruiged by his skillset, I suspect his trade value is highly mitigated given his pricetag.

That said, if by some miracle we can unload him and get a decent pick in return or move up substantially to nab one of the big name prospects, count me in.

Terrence Jones with two airballs and two fouls in the first 3 minutes--he needs to turn it up if they're going to beat OSU

Corey Fisher. Remember this guy? He's the one that scored 105 in that Summer League game last year. I don't see him on mocks but there's just something about the guy when I've watched him play on TV.

To me, he plays very similar to Kemba at a much cheaper price. He didn't put up the stats but I think he would do Kemba numbers if he played at UConn. I'm sure he's available in the second round or even as an UFA.

CRAP!! Sullinger says he ius coming back to OSU next year. That is a Top 5 off the Board which takes away our shot at an elite player. What the heck is that kid doing? Trying to get an education? :-)

Honestly, I dont put much stock in what the kids say before they are eliminated or the night following an elimination. Too much emotion. Parent and close friends will support them, but tell them to think it thru first to make sure they are making the right decision. Once they see the money they may be missing out on and the risk of injury, not all will stay. Some might, and good for them. But it would be very hard for a Top 5 pick player to walk away from that kind of money and risk injury. Let's wait a few weeks to let the emotion die down and then see what they are saying about declaring or staying in school.

I thought Sullinger showed that he is NOT going to a C. He was shut down for most the game when Harrelson was in the game. Once he left, he got his points. I don't think I would spend a top 3 pick on him, but maybe that's just becasue he reminds me a little of Diaw in how he looks so out of shape. If he was in better shape people might even be considering him a SF. I know he had a solid game, but I just felt like he did it against the back-ups, not against the starters.

And btw, what about Harrelson? Who knows where he goes, but in the 2nd round he may be a good option. The kid has improved DRASTICALLY in just one year. He is a work horse type, somebody that would be worth bringing him in if it didn't cost us too much draft wise.

what a classic matchup. I hate two teams in this tourny, one being the OSU buckeyes, the other being those tarholes from UNC. If the SEC, and Kentucky, coudl take care of both those teams I would be estatic! Of course, that is if my Gators can also get the win ;)

I'm calling one of those HUGE nights from Knight against UNC...he has an odd pattern of playing great, not playing great, then playing great again...it's his time to play great again.

Why would you have ever thought that? Who has ever said he was going to be a C???

Each to their own, but you crazy!! He needs to work on his body, sure, but his game is NOTHING like Diaw's.

If he was in better shape people might even be considering him a SF.

That wouldn't make any sense at all. That's like saying Gana should cut weight and play as a PF.

There are actually plenty of people trying to push him into a C role, including some on here who wanted him as an option at C for us.

Haha, I wasn't comparing there games AT ALL. Just there stature. The way both seem to be out of shape. They have similar body types, games are NOTHING a like.

I disagree. I don't see the post moves you would like to see from Sullinger. If he was lighter and more mobile he would be more of a SF. Keep in mind Sullinger has made outside shots this season. Plus, i'm not necessarily saying that he SHOULD be labeled a SF even if he did loose wieght, but NBA people like to label guys SF's when they really aren't. Like Perry Jones and Tyrus Thomas.
