Interestingly enough, he thinks of himself as a PF, likes to face-up.

That said, I'm almost certain he'll be a C considering his overall build.

Yeah fluidity and feel for the court is the most important thing for prospects, for me

For me there's a big difference between Kanter and JV, I don't care about not seeing Kanter play that much. It's obvious one guy has strength, offensive ability and awareness on both ends while the other guy counters that by having longer arms and playing hard. I'll take the former any day.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

I think the Kings would be interested in Bayless if they don't win the lottery, he just seems like a good fit beside Evans because he can differ to him. If they like him enough, and they like the prospect of having Bargnani as a spacer in the front court beside Cousins, we might be able to pry away their first rounder to draft someone like Kanter.

Kanter seems like a good kid with a strong work ethic... he already has many intangibles that big men don't have with his footwork, shot, and rebounding ability. He's strong and knows how to use his body to his benefit... he could be a steal in this draft if he pans out. I wouldn't mind drafting him if we're drafting in the 3-5 range. We'll obviously know more about him after his workouts and his combine results, but he seems like a good pick in that range.

that would be a dream scenario, especially if we're able to land Kyrie.
Kyrie/DeMar/JJ/Davis/Kanter would be an amazing young lineup to move forward with.

We tank for Irving, we don't tank to trade down our #1 pick for a potential 4th or 5th pick prospect

Say utah gets the 2nd and 5th pick. Would you trade 1 for 2 and 5?

I wouldn't trade 1 for even 2 and 3 in this draft. Irving is the only 'sure' looking star without major question marks.

Your nuts... you'd be crazy not getting the 2 and 3rd pick or 2nd and 5th pick.

Walking away with one of Derrick Williams and/or Harrison Barnes AND Kanter, Knight, Walker, J Vals is > than just getting Iriving. IMO

yeah I agree, if Cleveland or Utah would overpay with two top 5-6 picks for the #1, I'd take it and run, especially if we can land a SF+C (Jones/Barnes/Williams+Kanter/Val).

(Kanter/Val)
Ed
(Barnes/Jones/Williams)
DeMar
Bayless

that looks like a very talented young core to move forward with

Isaiah Austin has been playing Pg for his AAU team so far. LOL!

anyways, for those judging Kanter.
He hasn't played a game of basketball in over a year, and a competitive one in even longer.
He might be a great player, but he shouldnt be evaluated based on youtube videos, or on how coach Cal describes him.
Wait till workouts n whatnot

btw, tomorrow you can catch Jonas playing at 12:15... the head coach of his team was just fired, and the assistant Maskoliunas (who's from Lithuania) has taken over...which could potentially mean more playing time for Jonas.

See McFurious see's it my way. A combination of any of those guys would be great. Grabbing a Big and a wing.

I'm not sure if I'm on the Austin Bandwagon as some. I didn't really like his game at the McDonald's All American game. I liked Anthony Davis and McAdoo much more. I think it's cause he seems like a wanna be Kobe/Iverson. Ball dominate shoot first.

Could you possibly give a reminder on the board either later or tomorrow? I would love to get my first glimpse of his game. I've read a lot about it and him.
