That's pretty ridiculous that he led the ECB in blocks, per minute rebounds, FG% and is among the leaders in FT attempts given his age and experience. Most of those stats translate well into the NBA.
We don't know enough yet to really rank him, but I sure hope EG does his research. On paper, he sounds like Ben Wallace but with more offensive aptitude. Hell, he sounds a little like Dwight Howard if he can put on some more muscle.
I also like that he can play in Europe and continue to develop if there's a lockout.
It might be a reach to take him with our first pick (unless we slip to #7 or something) but I wouldn't mind trading up from #18 and trying to grab him with our second pick. I'd also explore a pick swap with Utah. If we pick 3rd or so and end up taking Irving because he's the BPA, Utah might trade us the #6 and #12 to get our #3 and #18. It would be pretty sweet if Barnes is still on the board at #6 and Biyombo is there at #12.
